Hold the ketchup
My wife and I are thrilled with our new fridge. The unique fridge to freezer ratios in the particular fridge make it almost as spacious as a 31 cu. ft model. Contrary to some of the reviews I read, we actually like the way the water and ice function, though we will see if it holds up under the test of time. This fridge has many upgrades found in much more expensive models including dual blowers for the freezer and fridge, adjustable fruit and vegetable drawers, and a very nice meat drawer. The only negative we have found is that the door shelves lack much room for condiments. We have 5 children and so naturally we buy the family sized ketchup and the like. We have had to limit the number of salad dressing containers we have open at one time and the ketchup and mustard now occupy main shelf space. This minor inconvenience is more than offset but the open feel, easy to view layout, and bright LED lighting. The bottom freezer holds large amounts of food and is far easier to organize than our old traditional fridge was. No more arctic explorations for the pot roast. In short, we are very happy and would recommend this product and the Sears team to anyone.
*A helpful hint: Sears contracts with other manufacturers to build the Kenmore line. This particular fridge is built by LG. Check the tag inside the fridge, you may be buying a product built buy a brand you view as an upgrade or may avoid buying a line you don't care for.
From sales to delivery Sears stayed true to their word. Couldn't be happier with our interactions with everyone involved.

Don't be fooled by good looks!
The quality of the parts is so severely poor. Two of the door bins cracked within the first couple of months to the point that they were unusable. The 3rd and 4th large door bins are only "usable" because they are being held together with nylon tape. And yesterday the spring hinge on the left french door just cracked off! No matter what it looks like, it's made from junk. Do your research and don't buy this!

So big, beautiful
My French-door was installed just three hours ago. Love the lights in the frig, the energy-savings aspects of the doors and the touch pad. I don't have ice yet, but think it will happen in the next 5 minutes. It sure gave my kitchen (and me) a big lift. The auto/preset temperatures are great.

Do not buy this product
If you want a refrigerator that will last, do not purchase one from Sears. I purchased this product and the ice maker broke after two years. Sears' product quality has declined significantly. And this is a Kenmore Elite brand....just think what the Kenmore product must be like..

I've had this for 8 months - I like the features and the capacity of this fridge, but... IT WON'T SHUT OFF - my old fridge was 18 years old and louder than this one, but it shut off often and house was quite at night - this one won't shut off so you constantly hear the compressor which has a high pitched noise you can hear a couple rooms away when the rest of the house is quite - tech support says that it is designed to stay on 90% of the time since most of the energy is used when starting the compressor. I'd rather spend a few more bucks a month for a quiter fridge.

Love the bottom freezer, bright lights and adjustable shelves
Went from side by side to this style with some apprehension. After several months I still absolutely love it. Bottom freezer is cavernous, love the smaller ice cubes, which can be easily dumped into the large ice bucket on top freezer drawer to fill for entertaining. Have never run out of ice. Shelves adjust to fit your usage, i.e. two liter bottles, 12packs of soda, eggs/etc. Plenty of freezer and fridge space. Love the bright lights that illuminate everything so well. Doors came off easily by delivery guys to fit through doorway. Very Minor complaints- Wish temperatures illuminated on outside door were actual temperatures, rather than the settings to adjust them-ice maker occasionally can jam/ice sticks together if not used regularly, needing to be knocked loose.

so far so good
we haven't had any problems with this frig,it's quiet,and we love the bottom freezer.The only issue I found is that it doesn't hold a 2 litre bottle of soda,but not really a big deal for us.

Great buy. Much room. Have only had a few weeks but ice maker working great the only problem is that if you don't keep the cup close to the top the chips scatter. Freezer with an enormous amount of room. So far so good. Moved from a side by side which I will never purchase again !
