I have had nothing but great joy with this unit. there was a small problem with the ice maker breaking but the warrenty covered it and fast. the surface can be scratched rather easy with magnets sliding on it because the front is stainless and good stainless is non magnetic. the magnets not sticking is a good sign as to the quality of the stainless used. this only leaves the sides for all the magnets. the freezer holds plenty. the water will stop working when the filter is done. it doesnt stop becasue its time it just will stop filtering and plug up. a new filter fixes it right away.

Great, good-looking fridge! December 28, 2011

We did a lot of research prior to purchasing this refrigerator and have been extremely happy with it! Everyone who sees it comments on it (looks more expensive than it was).  There are many positive features of this fridge - we love the ability to write notes and grocery lists on the screen, it measures the water as it dispenses, the smaller cube size is great, and both freezer and fridge sections have ample space, especially great for parties and holidays when it's filled to the brim. I like the full-width deli drawer but the tradeoff is you have to open both fridge doors to get to it.

Our ice maker quit working 3 days before the warranty expired. By holding a smart phone up to a sensor above the door the refrigerator sent a fax with relevant information to the technician - pretty impressive!  A new ice maker was sent to us within 2 days and the tech came right back out to fix it. 

Other than the ice maker breaking and a couple minor design issues, I would highly recommend this refrigerator!

Terrible tasting water and ice, doors don't close well December 12, 2011

I was so excited to purchase this fridge, but the water and ice tastes terrible. Since our house water is fine and it tasted fine coming from my previous fridge, I know it is not the water or the lines leading up to the unit. I called sears about a filter bypass plug and they can't find one for the unit even though the owners manual talks about that part. They have sent the wrong part out twice and finally they admitted they can't find it, so I am stuck with the worst ice and water ever tasted. It tastes like charcoal. We can't even make coffee with it. The left fridge door doesn't toggle well and so it doesn't close right with out manually moving the the piece that has to go in sideways in the center, so there is no pushing shut and releasing, you have to fix that middle piece to align it and then close the left side. It al least has an alarm that let's you know the fridge is open, but with five people in my house it goes off over ten times a day, annoying since five people but only one fixing it, so it gets tiring when I hear the little ding, ding, ding. The gallon doors are the wrong heights adjusted fully, try putting in gallon containers under butter drawer, they won't fit, so they are wide enough but not tall enough and can't be adjusted tall enough to fit them in the top gallon shelf on right side. There are no gallon doors on left so there are only two on right, one unusable. For any aspects I like, these are the major flaws that are not forgivable and I would NEVER recommend this fridge.
