Love this refrigerator! September 28, 2009
We bought this refrigerator in May and I love it. There is plenty of room for everything. We have not had any problems with it at all. The ice maker puts out a sufficient amount of ice and there is still plenty of room in the freezer. We went back and forth trying to decide if we wanted the ice in the door or not but I am glad that we didn't because that feature takes away alot of door space. I highly recommend this refrigerator, Kenmore applicances are the best!

Disappointing 5 year and one week life span, needed repair often January 07, 2010
This refrigerator looks nice enough and the layout inside is good, but unfortunately it is not reliable. Ours was purchased in late December of 2004 and the compressor gave out the first week of January 2010. In the interim it was recalled once requiring repair, and need other repairs 3 more times. Will not be buying another Korean made Kenmore Elite, you can be sure of that.

I purchased the refrigerator at the end of January 2010 and the arm that keeps the cold air and ice from coming out has broken off three times, the motor for the ice maker has already gone out and now today I find out this has a Kenmore name but is not really. All the parts and design are LG. If I wanted and LG I would have purchased and LG I thought I was supporting American workers but I was wrong. I feel mislead and I am angry that Sears ripped me off and lied to me. Shame on you. Now I am stuck with a refrigerator that I feel is going to need repairs often. The motor is on back order which tells me this is an ongoing issue. Beware before your purchase!

This refrigerator looks nice enough and the layout inside is good, but unfortunately it is not reliable. Ours was purchased in late December of 2004 and the compressor gave out the first week of January 2010. In the interim it was recalled once requiring repair, and need other repairs 3 more times. Will not be buying another Korean made Kenmore Elite, you can be sure of that.
