I like it so far. Only downside is it's a little noisy when it's running, but nice and spacious for the price.

Nice unit - just too noisy
The day I got this refrigerator, I told the delivery guys it was too loud. I had a repair tech. come out and check it, he said "There is nothing I can do, the Energy Saver's just make more noise." Well this one is going back and I'm getting a non- Energy Saver unit, just like it.

Kenmore 18.2 cu. ft. Top-Freezer - below standard performance I purchased this appliance, based on the Sears- Kenmore brand reputation along with high Energy Efficiency rating, Refrigerator has serious issues and does not live up to the hype.Temperature is very unpredictable.The refrigerator ?never sleeps?. Motor repetitively cycling; cycle last 40 to 50 Minutes-in duration,24 hour a day. Utility bill increased an additional $200.00 in one week. Noise volume -loud, surprising, irritating, Noise level is deafening, and erratic I have had the appliance only (7) seven days, I am returning the refrigerator. Extremely disappointed in the overall performance and cost incurred to operate this appliance

I am very pleased with this refrigerator. It was a good price and has a lot of room and it's very nice looking. I think it looks more expensive than it was. The only downside, is yes, it's a little noisy. But you get used to it. Also, the guys who delivered it were very nice, helpful and professional. They even took the old one down to the basement for us. I would definitely recommend this product. I would recommend this product to a friend.

poor icemaker
Have had Kenmore frigs for over 35 yrs. Ice maker in this 2012 model is PUNY! Only makes 6cm X -on a half moon-2cm, half ovals, and it takes 24 hrs to make 24!!! No light in freezer, either! A far cry from our older model!!! Glass shelves are thinner, plastic bins thinner, so hope it lasts at least 15 yrs like the previous 2! Do hope this is not an item built for obsolescence. To early to recommend anything! Would have loved a free sample of this product!!!

Poor quality in the details
I ordered this online so I didn't see it until it arrived this afternoon. Two noticeable issues already. (1) Because the handle of the refrigerator can be switched from the right to the left side, there is a hole in the front of the refrigerator. It is covered with a round, silver-gray piece of plastic a little smaller than a dime. RIGHT ON THE FRONT OF THE REFRIGERATOR! Even with the zoom feature it is not shown on the online picture. (2) The door to the frigerator is held on top with two screws. Every time you open the refrigerator door you see the screws. Why didn't they cover them? They could have used the same cheap plastic they used to cover the hole on the front and it would have been fine here. I would return it for these reasons but it is the only one that will fit in the built-in space in my kitchen.
