Lots of nice easy access features to this Samsung Refrigerator March 28, 2011
The sleek look of the refrigerator on the outside is nice, but it is the features that win you over for the long haul. The french doors allow you to open one side and still open a drawer as needed. The door bins are deep allowing you to store numerous items in the door without it being tight.
The cool select pantry is great for storing snacks and great for viewing a number of items when pulled out to the full extension. The freezer is divided into great compartments and I personally like the pizza box storage.
I love the ice selection of cubed or crushed and to date it is very efficient and does not drip or lock up.
Be careful that the left side door closes completely as it has the added extra lip otherwise it will appear that it is closed but may not be fully sealed.
I definately would purchase this refrigerator - no regrets!

The Samsung RFG 297AA is not reliable. May 18, 2010
This Refrigerator is well designed with a lot of storage space. The shelving is strong and well constructed. It holds temperatures accurately in both the refrigerator and freezer sections. The icemaker makes a loud clunk when it drops the ice into the bin but it is no big deal. It is easy to access items throughout the fridge and freezer. It is a lot of refrigerator for the money. Unfortunately every few weeks the water/ice dispenser quits working and the LED lights in the fridge don't go on. I have to Microsoft it by giving it a good whack and then everything works again for a period of time. Very annoying when you pay a lot of money for something and you get a defective product. We are about to engage the Samsung warranty process. We live in a rural are so I am sure it is going to be a treat. Update will follow.

none at the momentThe Samsung 29.0 cu. ft. French-Door Refrigerator Is very spacious and the design is smart. It has fold away shelves and large drawers that can be set independantly to fit your needs.
Adjusting the temperature in the Freezer and Fridge is easily done with the front panel. The bottom freezer has a struggle free handle (just lift the handle and the drawer easily opens. Icemaker works like a champ and we keep a bucket in the bottom freezer to store ice for our coolers.
Best of all it's a "energy saver" so even though we now have a 29 cu it eats far less electricity then our old 27.

led lighting,very functional,quiet, very spacious,water filterthe three seperate drawers keep the veggies, deli meat etc right at the respective temps. the lighting is fantastic! water and ice work quite well. Love that the upper drawe of the freezer pulls out automatically when the freezer is opened all the way.

Pros:
led lighting,very functional,quiet, very spacious,water filterThis product has everything the brochure says. The only thing I heard from the refrigerator is the ice dropping into the basket. There is enough space for everything you whose need to put in a normal family's refrigerator. Great color and finish.
