The Dream Refrigerator April 25, 2011

When my husband and I were almost finished building our dream home, we knew we need appliances to go along with the dream. We had seen one ad on TV for this refrigerator and I have to say what caught us was the "third drawer"! Went down to Sears and there it was..and you may laugh but we just looked at it like it was a "ice cream truck". The sales person showed us all the wonderful things this refrigerator can do and has that others never thought bout... You can pull out this BIG refrigerator with EASE to clean behind! It's BIG, so can HANDLE whatever you give it. The "third drawer" can be used for so many things, but what we use it for is the children as that is "their drawer", so they ARENT shopping in the main part and wasting energy. THANK YOU SAMSUNG! Hate having to place your pizza in the freezer and it gets smashed? Not to worry as this will NOT happen as Samsung has made a special PIZZA HOLDER! I love the fact I can change the shelves and how I want them in a flash, love it!! The drawers for veggies and fruit are the best I have ever had, as the kids had gone camping for a week, when the returned they found the strawberries looking and tasting just as good as it did 7 days earlier when we first bought them. We went from drinking a few sodas, ice tea, and juice a week to almost only having ice water everyday. Even the neighborhood children ask to have ice water. We had a open house before we moved into our home, the first comment we got was for our floors, the second one, for our REFRIGERATOR! Unreal

I have read the "cons" people have commented on, I think different. Yes the ice maker is a little louder than most but talk bout crushed ice, this baby does her job and does it well. I have had no problem with how loud the open door alarm is, fact is the first time it went off we all weren't sure what that noise was, let me tell you we are SO thankful for this alarm. The egg holder I saw wrote about to be isn't any major problem as from all I have read and know about one isn't suppose to take their eggs out of the carton. With that thank you Samsung for helping keep my family safer! Not sure what the comment was about the "poor water line attachment" as we had our plumber put in the refrigerator and all the parts it took to have it installed, and all he had to say was he wished he had one like this.

All I can say is Thank You Samsung, we love our refrigertor, and with everything we have heard bout Samsung we know we bought the best product on the market. This refrigerator by far is the very best one I have ever bought in my over 30 years of buying them. Would I suggest this refrigerator to a friend? YES. If given another chance to buy any other refrigertor would I have bought a different one? NO WAYS!

Good Refrigerator but watch out for defect October 18, 2010

This is a very good refrigerator. When delivered, watch out for defects. I noticed a broken shelf after the deliery guys left. Actually, there is a bar across the shelf to hold the rails in place. The weld quality was poor and it came off. Disappointing. Spend $3,000 and than this. Any ways, called Samsung, the girl at service center talked like a robot and kept repeating that I have to contact the installer as they may have broke it. So, already blame game started. Now, I will have to take it up to sears to resolve the issue. So, buy the refrigerator and when it is delivered, go and pray to lord that there is no defect in the refrigerator. You may be lucky. Also, the display is not bright enough. In a sunny day, you can't see a darn thing on the display. Actually, it is 3.5 stars but I would like the consumers to know about the issue.
