Love it. June 30, 2008
I purchased this item about 6 weeks ago to replace a Whirlpool that lasted less than 2 years. We are very pleased with this product. Cools great, quiet, overall appearance very appealing. Perfect for the two of us. Would recommend larger size if more than 2 in family. No complaints. Going forward, we will be looking at other LG products.

Very disappointed May 10, 2008
I hate this machine ! You have to be very, very careful how you load it. Do not put heavy items - like large towels or jeans - together cause the thing will never spin out the water. It will just keep trying to "adjust" the load. I tried to wash 5 pairs of jeans - big mistake. If you load only a set of king sheets and pillowcases, it winds up in a big ball that will not spin because of weight imbalance. Large and small items have to be mixed at all times - and that's not always possible. Also, how can something that takes 60 to almost 90 minutes to run be energy efficient??? My old washers would be finished in 30 or 40 minutes. Gentle wash means to put 2 or 3 items in -- I don't have time to wash 2 or 3 items in a machine - I'd do it by hand first ! Been married 42 years - first washer lasted 20 of those years - the next one 12 - have bought 4 in the last 10 years. Every time I get a new washer it's worse than the last one. Looking to go back to my old standard -- no "hi tech" stuff for me.

in indoor ice dispenserI have had my LG for a couple years and I have had no problems whatsoever. Love it. Doesn't have an indoor ice dispenser. Thought that was a drawback, but haven't missed it.
