Safety First All-In-One Car Seat is the one for us October 05, 2010

We received this car seat as a gift for my baby shower. My mother told me to pick one out--she did not choose it for me. I did much research and read many reviews before choosing this car seat. While my daughter was an infant, I used her infant car seat that was part of a travel system that included a stroller. After she outgrew that, we started using the Safety First seat. Even as a small baby, she fit nicely into the car seat. She just turned two years old and the car seat still appears to be very comfortable for her. I love the fact that you don't have to remove the harness straps to adjust them. As she grew taller, we just had to raise the headrest area, which is SIMPLE to do. This also keeps the extra padding behind her head, which I like. When she falls asleep, her head tends to be kept cradled against the side of the car seat, instead of just falling over--another plus. The seat pad is pretty easy to remove, wash and replace. I have done this several times now, with no apparent shrinkage to the pad. The cup holder seems a little akward to me, so we just don't use it. That's the only "complaint" that I would have. It is also easy to fasten into my SUV. I would recommend this car seat and would repurchase it myself if I ever needed to replace it.
