Awsome-est Toy ever!
My little sister won't let this toy go of her hands! She learned to recognize and write All the Capital Letters alphabets in 1 hour! She's awsome at numbers now! All thanks to VTech Follow Me Writer!This is an awsome toy!Although the writing pad is very delicate and makes scratches very easily. But the main point is that its so educational and fun!

Doesn't meet standards of a learning toy.
Bought this for my 2 and 5 year old, But decided to test it myself before they used it, So whilst using this it asked me to draw in capitial letter A I drew a capitial letter W and it congratulated me for writing an A when I didn't, So than it asked me to draw a K and I drew an S and it gongratulated me on drawing an K, How is this learning when it doesn't reconignze mistakes??? My child could think he's doing a good job drawing M'S but is actually drawing O's AND P'S and think's he's doing an A+ plus job when he's not, terrible toy!!!! took it back and bought the vtech write & touch tablet which is way better and not cheaply made like this vtech :(

Love this writer. My son refuses to even try to write . EXCEPT on this thing he will sit for hours writing his letters! It teaches them numbers and the letter sounds. Love Love Love this product

VTech Follow Me Writer's All Right with Me
I bought this as a birthday present for my Kindergartener. While I am satisfied with it's simplicity and over all usability, the writing part is a bit messy. They show the images and allow the child to write or draw that same image, but the pad can be a bit bumpy. Over all, a great product for those with children learning to, or improving on, their writing skills when you don't have the time, or patience level to do it on your own.
