Intex  24 ft. x 12 ft. x 52 in. Rectangular Ultra Frame Pool Package

We had a circular pool and this year we purchased this pool .  It is WONDERFUL.  Be sure ground is LEVEL.  That is the most difficult part of the process.  Pool is heavy, so recommend you have several "helpers". Our Grandchildren love it and so do there friends.

1.) Make sure your ground is level. We had to level ours but knew we had to (did research before we purchased this). If the ground is level there shouldn't be any problems with this pool.

2.) It is a lot harder to assembly than the video and instructions say. I do not see how 2 people can put this thing up!! The video shows 2 adults and they put up one side at a time, the sides do not stay up like it shows, you pretty much have to put all sides up at once so the more help you have the better.

3.) This pool is a very high quality pool, one of the best I have seen so I highly recommend it and Intex is a great company to work with. Everything Intex goes easily with it and easy to find in stores. The size is great, I know we wouldn't be happy with the smaller size and if we could level more of our ground, the larger size would even be better, just would hate to put that one together. I am telling you the construction is hard, physically (we only had 2 people though).

4.) I am not sure the pump is large enough, I am so glad it came with a sand filter pump, that is the way to go for sure. I would not own a pool without a sand filter pump. We haven't had it up too long which is why I am not sure if this pump is big enough, it's ok right now only time will tell.

5.) Get the salt water system: We went ahead and purchased the salt water system with this and hooked it all up together, again would not own a pool without it. (based on previous experience)

6.) Luckily I saw another review that mentioned the sides bending in when filling up and even knowing that I still was freaking out until it was full. The sides do stay bent inward the entire time it is filling and do not look normal until it is full of water. I am sure it has to do with the sides being so long. The short sides stay sturdy the whole time. The other thing that scared me was the corners: they do not lock and move back and forth: they are supposed to do that, there is flexibility there that I didn't think was supposed to be there but it is all ok.

I hope this helps, I know I liked reading as many reviews as possible and I am trying to cover everything that may be helpful. So far we love this pool and we are hoping it will last a long time. We also use long boards under the feet: we took the dimensions of the pool and set up our spot so the feet would fit on the boards perfectly, it was more work but worth it to have a stable level pool that should last us for years.
