This is a MEAN Race Car!!!
My extra tall four year old loves it! He's got lots of leg room with the open cockpit and it steers very well. I wanted a race car that would last for years to come and indeed the dune racer is "it"! The assembly took no time at all...maybe about two hours because my little guy helped Daddy every step of the assembly. I was determined to get the blue one ....the color is way HOTTER than the green one IMO. It navigates very well on all terrains...as other reviewers noted. I really like how the low speed setting is locked in for beginning drivers. (have to remove screw to access high driving setting) Love it...love it...love it!

This is the cutest little thing!! My son loves it. I'm glad I made the purchase. The battery is somewhat of a pain- long hours of charging in conjunction with how long the charge lasts, but my son's smile is totally worth it. He now has a new affinity for going outside.

Purchased this for our grandsons ages 2.5 and 6.5. They love it. The 2.5 has trouble understanding the steering but is thrilled his older brother takes him along for the ride. We get about 45 minutes ride time and have purchased a second battery. Make sure you read the directions for charging the battery to get the most out of it. Directions for assembly were easy to read and follow.

Couldn't ask for something better! My two sons age 3 and 4 love this. Took the screw out of the shifter for more speed, this thing flies!! First thing they ask for when getting up in the morning, is to ride. Battery lasts forever. A must have for kids, wish this way around when I was a kid!!

Monster Traction works!
This is our second Power Wheels vehicle and my son loves it! We also have a Jeep Wrangler but it gets stuck in the grass or when going over the edge of the driveway - but this Dune Racer does not! It looks super cool (my son loves the viper and the flame decals) and really goes over any terrain. The seats are very open so would probably hold a good sized kid. The Monster Traction really does what they say and is worth it!

GREAT ITEM, MY KIDS LOVE IT!
I have three children ages one, three, and six. All three love the dune racer. It has great traction to drive on both grass, cement, hills, dirt, and mud. I purchased a quick charger so we don't have to wait too long for it to charge and plan to purchase an additional battery to change out so they don't have to wait at all.
