Other reviewers have said this swing set is not a good quality however we love it! We bought this for our two year old son and ours does not sway at all. My husband put it together by himself in about 5 hours. We have had no problems with this swing set we had it shipped to sears and picked it up there and we received all the pieces and didn't not have to make any trips to the hardware store. This is a great swing set

WE BOUGHT THIS FOR OUR 3 KIDS AND I THINK IT WAS WELL WORTH. IT. I READ A LOT OF THE OTHER REVIEWS AND WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS BUT, I FOUND IT TO BE WORTH ITS MONEY. IT WAS VERY TIME CONSUMING TO PUT TOGETHER. IT TOOK MY HUSBAND A DAY AND HALF BY HIMSELF TO PUT IT TOGETHER. THE INSTRUCTIONS COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER EXPLAINED BUT SIMPLE ENOUGH TO FIGURE OUT. MY KIDS LOVE IT AND THAT IS WHAT MAKE US HAPPY. OVERALL I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE PRODUCT.

BEWARE! This swing set was a disaster from the beginning, the box fell apart so we had to take the parts out from the truck to the backyard seperately.The holes were drilled wrong in most of the pieces, i was missing EIGHT pieces. The store made such a big deal about returns for missing parts, I had to call the company directly and they kept sending the wrong parts. finally i have all the parts FOUR MONTHS LATER and now i discovered the netting WILL NOT FIT!!!! so my son has a cracking set that sways side to side as he swings, no jumper n the "rock wall" has no more steps left. the fencing around the fort has been literally falling off on its own from the sun. let me repeat, it has only been FOUR MONTHS. I literally just called begging for a refund and am willing to pay 15% restocking. I am so upset. save your $400, and put it toward a swing set thats double the money, because it will be well worth it! anyone is welcome to take mine for $50, thats how much i hate it.

I BOUGHT THIS SET FOR MY 5 YRS. OLD SON..IT TOOK AWHILE TO PUT IT TOGETHER,BUT EVERYTHING WAS THERE. THE WOOD IS LIGHT, BUT IT IS A VERY NICE SWINGSET FOR THE MONEY.MY SON PLAYS ON IT EVERYDAY AND LOVES IT.

My husband and I bought this for our sons 2nd birthday. The boards didnt line up. Nothing was straight. My husband had to drill his own holes. They sent us two of the same legs for the trampoline. We had to wait a week for the right part. The trampoline takes 6 body builders to put the springs on!! Then its like jumping on concrete its on so tight! When the kids play on it it tips. We are constantly tightening the screws. Half of the screws are stripped. The wood is cheap. Would make some nice fire wood though! Do not waste your money on this! What a pile of crap! Now we are out of 400.00. Hopefully the piece of crap holds up until our son is three! Save your 400.00 and add another 400.00 and get the nice one from ******.

Let me start by saying that the star rating was done by selecting 1 to 5 not by answering important questions like price value, quality of product, quality of service. etc. etc. I bought the swing set at the end of march. I actually put 90% of it together by myself. I say this so everyone knows that it can be done but it will take a while. Like many of the reviews the instructions are not well written. I did end up taking pieces apart to reverse this piece because the picture was not clear. Several pieces that use nuts, bolts and washers together the bolts are not long enough. Stds for securing nuts to bolts is that that at least one thread of the bolt should protrude past nut. Some them do not. I had one bolt snap off. I was short some screws and one piece of wood tore apart from this special kind of nut the you pound in the would with a mallet. It has spikes on it to dig into the wood. The reason the wood tore is because the wood is pine. Despite what another reviewer said that it was made of cedar mine was not. Also the main structural pieces are not actually full 4x4s or 2x4s. They are slightly smaller. With a combination of pine wood with not thicker size pieces, and bolts that cannot be properly secured my swing set was not very strong and all. I tighten all the bolts like the instructions state I put my 35 lb son on one swing and as he swayed back and forth the whole unit moved. This is totally not safe. It is possible that I got a dud set. I gave it a two star because the company who replaced the parts was customer friendly and had no issue sending the parts. I called sears today and they stated that I could return the unit. I should state that on delivery the box was damaged but upon opening the box, the parts did not appear to be damaged. I am returning the unit and will be going for a metal one. I guess you get what you pay for. This swing set has potential but the bottom line is you would need to add your own wood pieces to brace the swing set.

This is by far the worst 400$ i have ever spent. Very disappointed:(

It looks great! But not suitable for heavy children. The rock wall steps are very thin wood! The directions were problematic....look a head!! You need to install the foam pieces before you install the trampoline or you will have to take it apart. We didn't get a bag of hardware for the glider. Bummer. The little kids love it!!

We ordered this swing set for our daughters when it was on SALE via Sears.com online. I would have liked to have it shipped to store to save us an extra $75, but for whatever reason our local store could not accept it. When the product was finally shipped, our shipping time was pushed back by a couple hours - so we had to wait longer than expected. Then when we got ready to put the swing set together - we discovered our instructions were incorrect (and it was a Friday evening at closing time)...but luckily we got ahold of the company and they emailed us the correct manual to put it together. Once we had the correct manual, it took about four or five hours to put together. We realized the wood was not as sturdy as we would have liked, cracking when the nails/screws were put in. The swingset itself is very sturdy - BUT it only holds children UNDER the age of 5. I guess I didn't realize this at first...which means we probably will only get a few years out of it. Adults CANNOT sit on it or play on it...just monitor their children and help them with the swing. The trampoline is a lot of fun, and I love that the swings have covers on the chains to prevent pinched fingers. I love the picnic table and area for a sand area -- we are thinking about enclosing ours like a clubhouse. The slide works great, but be sure to watch your little ones as they could fall of easily - since it is not really that wide. Overall, I would recommend this product...for families with children ages Pre K and under. Our youngest will be 2 in a couple months, and she is the perfect age to start using a swing set like this one. The ladder has "climbing rocks" on them to help with climbing and everything is just her size. Our oldest who is 3 loves it!
