this equipment is nice. I rarely cook but when I do I want thing to flow smothly. I like the radio but rarely use it. the cd is the part I use the most. one important feature is the under the cabinet. It saves space and things don't get in the way. also kids don't get to touch the stations or change the song unless they have the remote.

I was given the GPX Under-Cabinet AM/FM Radio CD Player for Christmas. It's a nice inexpensive under cabinet player--not the best or top of the line, but still worth what you pay. The sound is more similar to a basic stereo--not much bass or depth to it. The radio reception is not great at all even though it comes with a small wire antennae to help. The radio only sounds decent if you're standing right next to it, otherwise there is a lot of static. But thankfully I don't listen to the radio that often! Aside from the radio quality, the only other complaint I have about this player is that the remote control has a very short range. You almost have to be standing right next to it to be able to use the remote control. My kitchen isn't terribly large, so this isn't a huge problem, but it is a drawback.
I mostly use the cd player and the outlets to plug in my ipod. The cd player works well. I was given this player before I had my ipod, so I was thrilled to find out it had RCA ports to add in outside sources like an ipod. The player is nice and compact and fits well under my cabinets and looks pretty sleek. It even has a place to wrap the cord around on the back of the player so you don't have dangling cords all over the place. Overall a great buy and works well!

I played this unit on 07/27/09 at Belk in Valley View Shopping center. It has stereo sound, but it's like a clock radio sound. Plenty of volume, but lacks depth or bass. It has a CD player and two RCA jacks to input another audio source; plus a remote control. Looks sleek and has digital tuning for FM/AM; but the sound is like a clock radio. Blue display is nice.
