Panasonic better
The default settings coming from the factory for this LG (supposedly 1080p) are lacking a good picture. The picture quality does not compare favorably to the great picture (default setting) that the 50" panasonic has which I have owned for 5 years (720p). After setiing the picture to the best I could get, it still does not have the great picture of the Panasonic.

Fantastic Deal on Fantastic TV
After hemming and hawing and researching TV's to death....My husband finally decided on this LG 60 inch Plasma. We had a 50 inch Plasma and WOW this one is HUGE ! The picture quality is perfect, sound is excellent. Watching Blue Ray Movies on it just show how crazy the picture is....I can hardly wait until the NFL Season gets here to watch football on this tv.

No internet apps is good in my opinion, no firmware updates needed & less problems, besides I have a Roku. Picture, sound all very good to ex cellent for the $700 price I got it for.

This is an excellent value.
This product has a very good picture with just an outdoor antenna. The set up was very easy and the controls are very user friendly. You have to read the manual if this is your first flat screen, but the instructions are very easy to understand. Blu ray or DVD show very good pictures. HD lets you see the imperfections or perfections on peoples faces.

Clearest picture ever
I purchased this tv because it was on sale. I was looking for a LCD TV, but when i seen the picture quaility of this plasma i changed my mind. I was blown away with the clarity of the picture. It has all of the hook-ups i was looking for, such as 3 HDMI's built in digital box for an antenna hook-up for free tv. And it swivels on the stand. I'm very pleased with my purchase. If you add an LG sound bar it is awesome.

Awsome TV!
I bought this tv literally half the price of a 60'' LED and I am very pleased. The clarity, the ultra thin thickness, and slick appearance made me a happy camper. The first thing I did was hook up my BLURAY player and popped in the Gladiator. One of the fight scenes towards the end of the movie has a tiger in it and the clarity is unbelievable which pushes that 600hz to the max. Best TV I've ever bought!

Awesome picture. Great features, plenty of HDMI inputs, great clarity. Neighbors bought an LED and is upset because I got a better picture. He watches football at my house instead of his because he says I have a better picture and he spent almost 3x as much. LOL!
