I would love to keep this remote- it controls everything, and the USB programming (while tedious) is a one-time hassle, after it is programmed, it is easy to use, and really performs quite well.
Sadly, it has a major flaw that has caused me to retire it from use.
The volume control is a very thin, cheap, *hard plastic* button (ok, button(s)- there is an UP and DOWN. These buttons are not responsive, and with TV programs & commercials that have wildly fluctuating volumes, the Volume control on the remote is the most used control on the remote- a critical function.
After spending way too much time holding down/stepping down the volume (and having it not respond)- and listing to every one in the houshold complain about it (consensus)- we've had to retire this remote (which is wonderful in every other way).
We're going to try another Logitech remote- one with rubber (or soft plastic) volume buttons- in hopes that Logitech gets it right in another design (feature-wise, we're happy with Logitech).

I use this for the home theatre room, a.k.a. the "man cave" and I can honestly say I do not know how I got by without this. Normally I would use 4 remotes, one for the tv, one for the receiver, one for the blu ray player, and one for the satellite box. With this remote I can control all of them and have no need to find 4 remotes.

I grew tired of having to keep all of my remotes around to do special functions on my equipment. I had been looking for a remote for a while that would be easy for everyone to use, and I stumbled across the harmony 520. For the price, you cannot beat the features of this remote. The initial setup is fairly easy and straightforward, but what I really enjoyed is being able to program the individual screens of the remote and tailor them to what I need. So far, the remote has been flawless, and I have enjoyed tinkering with the customizable buttons just as much. A truly great remote. Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to do away with multiple remotes. But don't throw them out. Keep them handy for special needs.

We've been through 3 remotes trying to find one that does all that we want for a reasonable price. We needed a remote to control 8 devices and tried the Harmony 670. The buttons on that remote were too hard to press for my wife who has RA. This remote has soft buttons that are very easy on the fingers and always work with one press of the button! One thing we would change: would be to make the text bigger on the screen. Please note, I am a Sears employee.

I got what I paid for $60. Very easy to set up. Tons of options. I was worried it would not work with my HD dish network dvr box but it did. Buttons are a little small but you get use to them. A must have if you dont want to spend alot but tired of having five remotes.

I like the remote, no doubt, but it feels so cheap, it feels like I can break it in half. Setup was very easy, but it feels so cheap. I really don't recommend it, because it feels like that it will not last in the long run.
