Great DVD Player! July 20, 2008
Our family just returned from a long road trip. The DVD Player was absolutely wonderful in every way. The picture and sound quality was excellent. The remote control worked beautifully. We purchased a $30 case that held the DVD Player up securely while driving. The case came with all the necessary straps for hanging around our car's headrest and holds all the devices that came with the DVD Player including the car charger, the remote, extra DVDs, AC adapter, headphones, etc. We purchased extra headphones that were a little more comfortable in my kids ears although they only used them for a very short time, preferring not to wear headphones at all.

My kids love them, but are frustrated with the plugs. Couldn't find anything close or in my price range to replace. They work for now, but dont expect to please young ones on long car rides.

This is my first portable DVD player and I've had it about a month and used it on 2 long car trips. It works as advertised. The battery lasts fine for one movie but will run out during the second movie, however the power plug for the car works just fine so just plug it in and continue where you left off. The picture quality while watching a video is acceptable and the video plays smoothly. We had no problems at all with playback while driving over bumps on the highway. The built in speakers don't get loud enough when driving at highway speeds, but the 2 headphone plugs work just fine and the sound quality is excellent when you run it through the car audio system (our car has an AUX plug that we plug into the headphone jack on this dvd player). It did read pictures from my cameras SD memory card just fine, but the photograph quality of the display isn't that good. Stick to movies and it will be fine. I haven't had it long enough to comment on durability. At this pont, overall for the price I paid I am satisfied with the quality and I would probably make the same purchase again.
