Excellent price, strong enough to withstand a one-year-old! March 04, 2011
I bought this as a way to keep my one-year-old son busy on a 9 hour flight. Given that he's a little young to entrust with most electronic devices, this portable DVD player is great! It has withstood being dropped numerous times, having its screen bent further than it should be pushed and being thrown around in a rush.
I haven't really had to test the battery life straight through (his attention span doesn't last that long, even when it's Elmo on), but with intermittent use while getting chores done, I only charge it every other day or so. My only complaint is that the click when you push the buttons down is a little loud.

If you decide to purchase this, make sure you buy the purchase protection. This item is definitely not worth the cost. From the start the dvd would stick, forcing the player to be turned off then back on, only for it to happen again within minutes. Finally it quit working completely, saying no disc. If you want to deal with having to turn the player off at a minimum of 10 times per movie, go for it. If not, find a better player.

Christmas gift so don't know how it is going to hold up yet.
Bought protection warranty on it as well. But beware they don't send
a copy of it with product, you have to call and register it

Battery Life Fails December 16, 2011

Had this Dvd Player for road trips (once a month). Buttons have a slow response time, and battery life failed. Didn't even have it a year and it would only play the dvd for 20 mins if that then die. Very unhappy with it. Picture and sound were great, just happy I purchased that extended warranty. Gave it right back to them under the warranty and received my money back. Won't buy this again. Battery is built in, so no way of replacing it.
