Design,Easy to hookup,Easy to Use,Picture Quality,Sound QualityThis is the best converter box I have seen yet, it is just great. build strong and works good, this picks up more channels then other converter boxes I have seen or own. And is easy to use, It has a TV power button on the remote. The on screen menu is very easy to use and laid out well, not hard to use or operate like others. Would recommend this converter box to anyone that needs one.

Excellent unit with a lousy program guide July 02, 2009

Design,Easy to hookup,Easy to Use,Picture QualityThis unit was highly rated at Consumer Reports and rightly so because it has a great picture and sound (it was set to mono by default but it's easy to change using the menus and I believe you have to use the line-out jacks on the back of the unit). The only flaw I've found so far is the program guide. It only lists the show that's currently being aired and one upcoming show per channel and it only displays one channel at a time. Also, it will only display program information AFTER you tune to that channel so you'll have to flip through them all first. The best program guide I've seen so far is with the Dish Network TR-40CRA. It has to download program info when you turn it on but it's for all the channels you can receive and for several hours in advance. The Zenith's universal remote was really easy to program. You hold a button down and repeatedly press another one until your TV turns on or off.

None ReallyThis is an excellent converter box. I gladly purchased this item at Kmart and I bought 2 converter boxes. This one works the best. It is easiest to use, good looking, really good compared to the Magnavox one I also own. I would also like to mention that they were the same price. For the money, even though I used two government coupons, this was the best run for the money. Anyone that needs a tuner should head over to there Kmart or Sears store, and get this one. You will not be sorry that you did. I wasn't.

RemoteEasiest, non-time consuming converter out there. I thought it was going to be a struggle. But really in no time I was Converted. The zoom feature is really clear and doesn't make your picture abnormal. Only bad thing is the sleep timer. Once you set it for sleep it's programmed each day for sleep. If you are watching in the middle of the day the converter will go off but the TV stays on a goes to FUZZ. You have to manually take the sleep timer off each day. But it's a lot cheaper than cable.
