Since we went from another brand blu-ray palyer to Sharp Aquos blu-ray, it was the best decision and it is so much better in clairity!

I've had this player for about 2 months now and I'm happy with this purchase for the most part. I don't have an AQUOS TV so, I can't take advantage of the "Aquos Pure Mode" feature. Also, to date no firmware update exists for this model. The picture and sound quality is great for 1080p video and up to DTSHD 7.1 audio running through my Yamaha home theater system. I would recommend purchasing this unit for anyone's home entertainment enjoyment!

I got this for Christmas and by February, I was sending it back to Sharp because it didn't work. It wouldn't play anything. Save your money and buy something else.

Pros:
Great picture qualityThis is my first bluray player and it complimanets my 46 Sharp AQUOS TV just GREAT!
The picture is GREAT, with a quick free firmware update everything runs great on the Bluray player.
The only thing that upsets me is that it does not stream NetFlix like many other even cheaper brands do.
This is not to big of a deal being that I dont use NetFlix but it would be nice if it was an option.
This is the only reason I am not giving it 5 out of 5.
Picture and sound though that would be a 5 out of 5
but its getting a 4 out of 5 because of limited options. if you NEVER plan to use NEXFLIX buy this one if its a good price. I got mine for $125 Shipped.
