Excellent value July 21, 2009
We shopped many stores and looked at numerous brands and models of televisions and each time we came away with the same conclusion; this t.v. has the best picture in its price range. Even more expensive brands and models oftentimes did not match up. This model has it all; excellent picture, sound, style and price. Picture quality is like "being there". Very pleased with BOTH of our Samsung televisions.

Samsung does not back their product March 29, 2010
18 months after spending nearly $2,000, on a Samsung TV, it developed black shadows. A Samsung tech came to my home and told me I had a failed LCD panel that would cost $1100 to repair. Repeated phone calls and letters to Samsung have been fruitless. Since this product carried only a 1 year warranty, Samsung in essence has told me..."too bad, you lose." I will NEVER buy any Samsung product again. They do not stand behind their products.

floor model a few frame scratchesWe purchased a 46 inch samsung flat screen and it is great. It was a sale item and we had just had our televison have a failure. We were covered by a Sears EXTENDED WARRANTY and got a recovery value price discount and put it toward a newer and bigger flat screen ON sale. The new flat screen make HD amazing and wii games easier to play and watch, Sears took a set up for us; let Sears Service cover you!

Of course I am used to my 2002 jvc I art 32 inch. but couldn't pass it up. Very nice picture, works great with video games, crisp picture. Wife was not to impressed with the picture, until we upgraded to H.D. receiver. and H.D. DVD player.Now she is Very Happy.
