    A big bang for the buck! June 08, 2008

    I've got to be honest with you. I was concerned about how the picture on the TV would look because I do not have HD cable, but when I plugged the coaxial in and powered it on, it far exceeded my expectations. Even without HD cable I notice more detail in the picture than with my old CRT TV. The blacks are a deep black and the whites are a bright and true white. It's not a 120hz TV, but I've never seen it blur so I don't see a point in spending close to a grand more for it. I also purchased the 3YR protection plan to stay worry free for the next three years that my TV will work due to normal 'wear and tear.' There is no way you can go wrong purchasing any A530 series TV. You're getting the most value out of the little money you're paying for a 1080p LCD!

    Very disappointed, no pic, vertical lines December 24, 2008

    Hoped to have our TV installed for Christmas. It's installed, but doesn't work. When we first turned it on, we had colored vertical lines, sound, and no picture. Tried again, got a picture, so figured it was something that happens when the set is first turned on. Today we have vertical lines again, unable to reset, and Samsung customer service says it needs to be serviced. I'm going to call Sears and hopefully return this TV to Sears instead of having it serviced.

    Nice looking television,glad we made the purchase. It has a wonderful picture, and the sound quality is great. We are very pleased with the different options we have. The T.V. is very easy to clean and it looks nice in any room of the house. I am very pleased with this product!

    I bought this tv from Sears East town @ Knoxville,TN. It has a great picture and my XBOX360 looks great on it! I bought it for 1199.99 plus 10%off. The associates were very helpful! They even proved that the price couldnt be beat! I am so happy with this TV! You dont need the 120hz to have a great picture and sears is the place to buy it!! Thank YOU sears!!

    I bought this tv a few weeks ago. It was onsale for $1199 plus 10% off with the sears card and a free sharp bluray player. I couldnt find a better deal anywhere. I was looking at this tv and the comparable sony. Each store I went to the sales person recommended the samsung. The specs are basically the same except the samsung is a few $100 cheaper, and it looks better. I got the tv home and set it up. Very simple and the picture is great. HD channels and bluray have an astonishing picture and the sd picture is really good too. The off air analog channels are not the best but we dont get very good reception on those any way. The only complaint I would have with this set is the sound leaves a little to be desired but its acceptable and that seems to be a common complaint with the majority of flat panels. I would recommend this set to anyone.
