Great picture. Front-facing speakers are very special. This TV comes with an 80-page manual that really is a rarity. Set-up is very easy. The remote is a nice size and simple to operate. I would recommend this Sharp 52-inch to everybody who wants a great picture on a very big screen!
This review will be in 2 parts. 1. the TV. Excellent picture on this TV. Before I purchased I read a few of the reviews on it and there was a problem with fast action leaving a blur. Of course when I read reviews, I take them with a grain of salt because I've read reviews about products that I've owned and I'm thinking, that is totally false! In this case, it is totally true! I was watching NFL football and a few of the deep passes were thrown and you could see a trail that was about 2 or 3 inches long behind the ball. Its not subtle, its very prominent. Everything else was great on the TV but if you're getting 120hz TV, you dont expect to see blur like that. I ended up returning the tv for an LG 3D TV. 2. The return service. I will NEVER, mind you NEVER EVER order anything else from Sears.com and I encourage anyone else to not bother unless you buy something you will never need to return. Nothing but lies and deception from Customer Service BEWARE!!
I love my new TV! The LED backlight is great.....really brings the picture to life. I did have to get some help with my ISP provider tech on the phone to figure out the web stuff (I couldn't get Netflix to work...which you do have to join), but we did figure it out and haven't had any problems since. I'm happy!
We bought this over Thanksgiving weekend and got a great price on it. I compared Sears' price to as many other vendors as possible - both online and store - and Sears beat everyone. We reserved it online to pick up at the store. When we arrived, it took all of ten minutes to have it in our car and ready to go home, and it was set up that night. We also used the special of 18 months interest free if you use your Sears card. Can't beat that. Also register your TV and you get an extra 3 months on your warranty. The TV itself has an incredible picture, one we have not felt the need to do much correction to. Setup was easy. And since it is connected to our wifi, there have already been software updates, which I think is great. I like it very much and am happy with the purchase. Thanks Sears!
