Despite several individuals listing concerns about the audio in the reviews we found online, we have been quite pleased with the Toshiba. The picture quality rivals models that cost three times as much and it is easily configured to accomodate as many accessories as you can throw at it. I would recommend it to anyone I know. High tech flat screen, LCD quality for a betamax price.

Bought a model similar to this a year ago for the holidays 2008. Motion blur in HD was bad, apparently this has improved since then, but I would never buy another 60hz refresh HD set again, which I am assuming this set is, very risky for picture quality in HD. I am a year into my purchase and already, my set has to be replaced because the technology was not up to speed in HD. Apparently this set has some improvements in the motion scan. A tv with a 60 refresh rate has HD capability, but in many instances is not a true HD performing set, it is more a digital set. Uncertain how the response time played into improving the motion issue, but buyer beware if purchasing a lower refresh set. Have to make it clear that this is not a specific review of this new product, but any set in the 60 refresh range, I would be wary of a purchase. Go for at least 120hz and good response time, 4-6 milliseconds, otherwise your purchase might be for nought, unless you simply do not care or have HD capability.

Santa came early and so far so good. Don't have HD boxes from Charter yet but just hooked to cable from the wall picture is AWESOME. Sound is good too. Trying to figure out "bells and whistles" but everything looks good so far. The manual leaves a lot to be desired. The manual is only a quick install never tells you how to work the functions on the tv.
tech savvyI recently puschased this TV as a gift for my Mother. It has a great picture! Sound quality and limited connection options are the only problems I have with the TV, but all in all both of these are exceptable for the cost ($400 on sale, great deal!) She is very happy with the TV as this is her first Flat-Panel HDTV. I highly recommend this TV for basic TV user or for a secondary room TV.
