We bought this tv last week and so far we love it. Good sound too! The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because Netflix doesn't come in very clear on it. Otherwise, we love it!

Looks good and it is inexpensive
I bought the 50 inch Toshiba 50l2200u TV on Black Thursday/Friday for $300. Initially when I turned it on I though that the picture looked horrible. Then I realized it wasn't the TV itself, it was the horrible factory settings. Once you adjust all settings properly video games and TV look clear. Even SD content like playstation 1 games and SD TV looks nice and clear. This TV doesn't have amazing refresh rate like Panasonic plasmas but it still looks great. For its price it is a great TV. It does not have any smart tv features besides displaying media via memory disk but, if you own a ps3, xbox 360, wii, wii u or basically any other new media center that connects to your tv then you will already have internet and apps. Also the sound is very clear. It has all the expected ports but not a lot of them and no rca for old speaker systems, but you can plug them into the stereo jack instead.
