A superb 37" 1080p HDTV with IPS display
I've been keeping an eye out for a 1080p TV with IPS panel and 37" size. Well, sometimes you get lucky. While at the Sears store last weekend, I saw closeout signs on several of the TVs on the shelf. They were selling off some floor demos to make room for new models coming out soon. One of them on sale was this Panasonic TC-L37U3, which was one of the models on my list, and the price was amazing. I asked the manager for details, he explained the situation.They were including a three-year in-home warranty, with free semi-annual in-home "tune-ups", all for less than $300. How could I refuse.
I should say, I work in the electronics business and have long been partial toward Panasonic products, they are among the best-made out there. I would probably have bought the unit even without the extended warranty.
This TV is superb. The sound is weak but all flat panel TVs have poor sound. Keep your eye out for one of these on sale and grab one before they're gone. It's worth it.

Great TV for the price
This TV is great for the money. I have it in my master bedroom. Have owned it for about 6 months. The sound and picture are both really good. Love it because there is no glare at all, even with the shades open.

Great TV for bedroom or Dining Room
We purchased the TV in the begining of December. We replaced a tube type TV in the dining area and installed it with a wall mount. Great sound and picture. Remote works good, also. The price was under $350 - A steal I thought.

Panasonic 37" Viera -- Great HD Picture
Bought this TV as we finally upgraded to digital cable with HD channels. We had good experience with Panasonic in the past, and this TV has been great so far. The picture is absolutely fantastic with the HDMI connection to our HD DVR. Added a Panasonic blue ray player to the set up, and there is a 3rd HDMI input on the side for our laptop or anything else. Optical digital audio out really finishes off the set up. Great TV, and it fits in the 36" opening in our entertainment center.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
