"I have had the Bravia for a week and the picture is absolutely awesome. The HD programs are crystal clear, even better than what I was seeing in the store. I have satellite with HD service and the difference in my old Sony CRT and this TV are phenomenal. The $400 discount was the icing on the cake, but I would have bought it anyway."

Sony Fails July 03, 2009
I got this tv because its my job to sell them and every year they have been good. Now they are slipping, Samsung over too them. I thought the picture was great but the sound would break in and out all the time. I checked if it was cable but it was the tv, then many customers i have had came in saying the same thing and had to replace it for them. Get the Samsung 650-630 thats what i did and im much happier

noneWe bought this TV to replace our 32" LG LCD that we purchased 4 years ago. We were at first hesitant to purchase a brand other than LG, because we do love our LG TV. When this went on sale at Sears, we went to take a look at it and could not get over the crisp perfect picture, we were sold with the great price of $1199 down $400 from original price.
We've had this TV for a month now, and have NO regrets on making this choice. The picture on this TV is excellent!!!! SO glad we went with the 120hz. This TV was simple to set up and the picture, sound, everything is outstanding!!!! You will not regret this buy, it is absolutely perfect, and the picture is much better than my well-loved LG....

noneI bought this TV because it wil fit in a spot over the fireplace in my home. I previously had a Toshiba 42" plasma in my LR and thought the picture really could not be beat.. This new Sony is definitely better. Also a great value. I am very happy with this choice.

Sound QualityI brought this TV two weeks ago and have to return it because video would shift 1 cm from side-to-side, speaker volume would turn off by itself and lines would appear on screen from time-to-time.
The only good thing with my purchase was Sears customer service. They let me return this defective TV without charging me 15% restocking fee. I would still go back to Sears and purchase a higher end Sony TV but just not the V or S series. If you don't believe me, go check out comments in *******.com for Sony V & S series TV. Don't buy it unless you like to waste you time calling Sony tech support and returning this junk back to the store.

tv mode default is cable instead of ant.My reasoning for getting this tv was because
1) Sony, the best out there right now. Samsung might be cheaper and with identical hardware, but I trust Sony's quality control and track record.
2) 120 Hz. This is the cheapest 120 hz Sony LCD you can get. 60 hz would give you motion blur and flicker problem (so it claims, I for one cannot tell the difference. But nonetheless, you'll be able to avoid those problems at least with this tv)
3) Brightness is great in a well lit room. My room has 3 windows and this looks great even in the day time. Also has no glare.
4) Easy to set up. Detected all the tv networks. Plugs are on the left and back.
