Horizontal stripes,Colors dissappear becoming black,Images with 2-3 shades,SONY TV KDL-52XBR9 the worstI bought this TV last December 15, 2009, the image was perfect and the quality was very good and clear.
Last December 20, 2010, the TV go wrong, the worst I have not seen before.
This is just after the "protection from the manufaturer" was expired, my friends advised me that if a TV works well for ne year, it does not need to paid $400 for an extra year of protection. I heard them, and now the TV is a peace of garbage.
TV started to show horizontal lines the first 3 to 5 minutes, then, time to time each 1/2 hour.
TV shows the red and blue colors as black-orange and suddenly the colors and the image starts to disappear.
TV shows the images with 2 and 3 shadows.
Now, the TV is at the garage, ready to trash away, the repair cost $980.00 bucks.
I will never buy SONY TVs anymore, these are the worst ones, bad technical support, everybody have washed their hands, Sears and Sony.
