    The Sony-wireless stereo headphones with transmitter work great. April 04, 2011

    Dollar for value these are among the best pair of wireless headphone you'll come across. I bought these for my brother at Christmas and he could not be happier. After trying a similarly priced set from brookstone a year prior, which lasted all of about a month, I decided he needed a step up. He uses these in his bedroom and within that space he never has a problem with reception. The brookstone pair required a new battery about once every other week so the convenience of built in rechargeable and a convent place to dock dock right within the transmitter has been fantastic. Not to met ion the longevity of that battery leaves little chance of downtime even if you forget to throw them on the charger one night. The quality of the sound isn't perfect, could be better, and the foam ear pads can be a bit frustrating. Thus why these aren't five star. But aside from those two complaints overall they make a great buy for anyone not looking to annoy the rest of the family with your night time tv watching.

    No good on treadmill March 11, 2009

    Absolutely worthless for watching TV while on a treadmill. The treadmill causes static interference that completely overwhelms the sound. This is not an unusual effect with a number of wireless headphones, and I'm having a terrible time trying to replace my old Optimus wireless set up that is no longer made, but worked wonderfully with a lightweight headphone.

    The device arrived in its own box unsealed,no plastic cover to protect from humidity while on the shelves,no literature,no warranty card and no installation instructions.The headphones are operational, but has a slight hiss.I feel that I received a" RETURNED item".

    After reading the reviews from several websites I went ahead and bought these.  I even asked the very nice salesman if they would work with a plasma tv and he said yes.

    Well, they don't.  Only got static noise.  Whe I returned them the salesman said I might have had them too close to the tv but I didn't.  It was the plasma thing.

    I visited with other website chats and was told I needed RF, not IF.  We'll see.

    Bottom line, if you have a plasma tv, these are not going to work for you.

    One additional comment... the headset had a spring loaded over-the-head adjustment.  Once you get them on your ears where they should be they start creeping up.

    this head phone is realy uncomfortable, there is no pad on the top so after a while you start feeling pressure on thr top of your head. the ear pads fell off in about 3 months and it is impossible to put them back. in 9 months the left side stoped working. It is under warranty, but sony doesn't have a repair shop in our state , so I have to pay to ship this junk to be repaired, which is not worth while to me. prefer to buy a schlessinger head phone. I thoght sony was maid in japan, but this one is made in malasia. don't waste your money, buy a beeter device
