Perfect Tint is an exclusive Mitsubishi feature that provides the ability to adjust the tint of six separate colors independently of each other and separately foe every input. - DeepField imager
DeepField imager constantly adjusts brightness and contrast for optimum settings in all areas of the picture. It can even optimize complex scenes containing both dark and bright areas. DeepField imager analyzes 135 sectors of the picture in real time. It determines the optimum blend of contrast and brightness settings within the picture using advanced Mitsubishi algorithms. - 3D ready
3D is an entertainment format that started back in the mid-1800s, not long after the invention of photography. It was not until 1915 that 3D movies would make their debut. This was a great purchase and a steal at a great price. Was a hard decision on which model of Mitsubishi to buy and price I wanted to spend. Ended up buying the 73 in. back in Sept. 09 and got a great deal, almost $1000 off the original sale price at sears.com. Once I got it setup I wish I would have got the 82 in., but I wouldn't look back or think twice on buying the 73 in. Only hard part was finding a TV Stand. The bigger the TV the more expensive the stands were, but found one that was perfect at best buy for just a little over $500. I work in the Movie Theater Industry and am familiar with DLP having Digital DLP Projectors at work. Now having this TV it's like having my own theater in my living room and I now prefer watching movies at home than at work.
