Sony -BDV-E370 3D Blu-ray Home Theater System-Sony does it again March 15, 2012

I have been thoroughly pleased with this system. Although I have not utilized the 3D aspect of the player all other aspects have been great. Only issue I had initially was figuring out how to not get the TV sound to play in conjuction with surround sound yielding an echo effect- more of an operator issue. Love it overall.

Great product for the price.

Positives: Easy installation and menu navigation. Decent sound for the price and great picture for the player. Additional wireless speaker components available (not included) to complete 7.1 system. The system has a great visual design.

Negatives: Only one (1) HDMI output and zero (0) HDMI inputs. No graphic equalizer. Additional wireless speaker components (for 7.1 channels) not included.

False advertising re mp3's; customer support is horrible January 24, 2012

I bought this because it advertises that it 'does everything', including that it plays mp3's. I have a Zune MP3 player. This system will not play from the Zune, at all, because the usb is "not supported" by this product. I contacted Sony support thinking there may be an adaptation, and my so-called 'customer support' was a computer generated response to refer me back to the one paragraph in the manual that, of course, I had already read (plug in and unplug USB to see if it works--the advice). And it didn't even ask me if I had further questions. In fact, once you have it opened the manual, the ONLY players that this product specifically lists as 'supporting' are a few OLD model ipods--NOTHING else. The system lacks any audio jack so that maybe you could use it get something to play from it. The wireless speakers I already have cannot be used with this system. And, if you want to use the internet features it advertises, you get to pay another $70 to buy the wireless adapter to do it. And it comes with ZERO cables. What is the point of a home theater system in which you cannot play music?????

Easy as one, two, three.

Cons:

One HDMI NO GRAPHIC EQUALIZER

Great product for the price.
