Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess - Complete package - 1 user - Wii

When an evil darkness enshrouds the land of Hyrule, a young farm boy named Link must awaken the hero - and the animal - within. When Link travels to the Twilight Realm, he transforms into a wolf and must scour the land with the help of a mysterious girl named Midna. Besides his trusty sword and shield, Link will use his bow and arrows by aiming with the Wii Remote, fight while on horseback and use a wealth of other items, both new and old.

In The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Link finds himself at the epicenter of an intense struggle between the forces of good and evil. The darkness that enshrouds the land of Hyrule is known as the Twilight Realm, and a mysterious character named Midna helps Link to find his way in this dangerous world.

Lengthy Zelda game! September 21, 2011
    By ChopinBroccoli of Rockford, IL
    Pros:
    Smooth Gameplay,Amazing story,Music,Puzzles

Zelda games have always been story-driven and this one is no exception. Except this one is much darker compared to previous Zelda games. The adventure follows Link trying to stop darkness from taking over the land. Twilight Princess has more of everything though... more items, more enemies, bigger world, and bigger story. The game also lasts a very long time on average over 50 hours! This still is one of the best action adventure games on the Wii.

Absorbed in Twilight August 22, 2011

    Pros:
    Excellent Graphics,Smooth Gameplay,Amazing story,Music,Puzzles

The Legend of Zelda is one of my favorite video game franchises of all time. So one should expect that I would be singing praises up and down for the latest entry to arrive on the Nintendo Wii system, right? Well... yeah, pretty much.

You start the game off slow in a small village that Link calls his home. Here you are introduced to the game, its characters, and everyone's favorite mode of Hyrule transportation: Epona. After spending a bit of time in the village, the game kicks into high gear and you are changed into a wolf with new abilities that completely turns the world of Zelda upside-down. From here on out, you realize that you are destined to save the world, animal form or not, and must do so by navigating a line-up of cleverly designed dungeons.

The soundtrack for this game is superb as well. All the tracks were wonderfully orchestrated and have that classic Zelda flavor that has been a staple for the series since the beginning. The only disappointment here is the lack of voice work that has been done for the game aside from the short voiceovers that play when talking to a character, but this is nothing new and does not retract from the enjoyment of the game.

Playing this game with the Wii remote is a major draw for this title. With the exception of playing with a plastic sword as a child, this is the first time I got to imitate Link's sword fighting skills without feeling like an idiot. Although you may look silly to your friends and family that happen to pass by as you are flailing your Wii remote in the air, you will be having far too much fun to care. I think having the controls done in this manner also helps reduce the amount of buttons required to control the game. All you need to do is wave the Wii remote to swing Link's swords, and waving the nunchuk gives you access to spin attacks and shield blocks. In addition, the remote makes sounds during combat that help reinforce the feeling that you are actual engaged in sword combat.

If you have a Wii, or are thinking about buying one, you should pick up Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. You won't regret it.

    Great gift September 24, 2010
    By TariM of Wrightstown, NJ
    Pros:
    Smooth Gameplay,Excellent Graphics

This was a gift for my husband, who is a longtime Zelda fan. He thoroughly enjoyed this game! It takes a little getting used to with the new controls, but once you have it down it adds a great new aspect to the game!
The graphics are superb as well, no glitches that I have noticed and everything runs smoothly.

Another great Zelda adventure September 14, 2010
    By pkrevbro of Minden, LA

I grew up playing Zelda on the original Nintendo way back in the eighties.  Needless to say, I've bought every console and every Zelda game that has come along.  My personal favorites are the original, A Link to the Past, and the Ocarina of Time.  However, this was a fun adventure ride and I've enjoyed playing through this game though I've had to ration the amount of time that I've put into this game because my children want to watch "Finding Nemo" rather than watch dad play through a video game.

Easily one of the better Zelda games out there...
