Best work boots ever!
My hubby bought these boots on a Friday afternoon. He wore them on a 3 day scout camping trip that night and absolutely loved them. They didn't need any break in time at all. His feet felt like he was wearing his favorite sneakers! They have all of the safety elements his job requires! He wears the boots M-F from 6 a.m. -5 p.m. without any problems. We will definitely purchase these again! The cost was a little more than I had hoped to pay, but after hearing how happy he is with them and no complaints about his feet hurting, they are more than worth the money! Thank you Timberland!

shock absorption inside = blisters
These boots are like walking barefoot on soft carpet, however the shock absorption is inside the boot causing excessive movement of the foot, and were there?s movement, there?s friction, and that means blisters.
I recommend a boot that has its shock absorption in the midsole. Look at boot that has the sole sewed on, (the welt of the boot has the stitch), look specifically the heel: The outsole is the bottom wear resistant sole with the tread. The midsole is the softer material where the give and shock absorption is. This is a must if you have a bad back.

Comfortable, but caused blisters
This shoe was for my husband and within the first few days he was complaining of blisters. He said that the bottom of the shoe had plenty of cushion, but they rubbed at the back of his heels when he walked causing sever blistering. He is a delivery guy, so he walks up and down a ramp all day and after 1 week we were returning them.

I ordered this online for my husband, in an effort to save time in the stores. Big mistake. I would only order online again at Sears in a dire situation. The experience was awful, and I do a fair amount of online shopping. My husband loves the shoe, though, and finds it very comfortable.

Bought the boot for the reason of anti-Fatigue. So far so good as I spend a lot of time on my feet on concrete due to substation related work . I am satisfied so far with boot at the end of day ,
