DieHard boots really live up to their name! October 10, 2010
I have been a Concrete pumper for ten years and have been introduced to these boots by others in the field. Most the time laborers in this trade need to wear rubber boots. Not with these bad boys! I wear these things to the bone. They never fail me. When it is time to get another pair, I wear them for another 2 months. You get your moneys worth with these boots. The laces are always the first thing to go.
Another great thing about them is that they are backed by sears 90 day warranty. Just bring your reciept within the 90 days and if there is any defect you get a new pair for free, Last but not least, these boots are extremely comfortable. They are also waterproof. you can also spray them with a waterproof spray and they last twice as long. I usually go through 2 pair in one year. Being around all the chemicals and environment of the concrete industry that is a long time. I highly recommend these boots to a working man or woman. They wont let you down!

They fall apart after a few months April 30, 2010
I have always liked these boots until the past few years. I have been in construction for over thirty years and these have been my boot of choice. However, not anymore! The last two pairs have lasted a mere six month each and then fall apart. It seems like planned obselesence to me and i will not partake any longer. Just anothe example of money grubbers selling out the American people for the bottom line. Ninety percent of all chinese products are junk!

I've been wearing work boots for well over 50 years and bought these boots primary for the comfort of a soft sole. Too bad they don't stay together, the sole started to delaminate in less than 5 weeks. I'm retired and do not subject the boots to anything more hostile than yard work. I was pleased with the shoe at the start as they are easy on the feet. The real hassle was trying to get the boots replaced under the 90 day failure in material and workmanship, I spent more than an hour and a half on the phone and was told I would need to pay for another pair boots and wait to be credited until they received the returned defective boots. I then went to the local Sears store to have them replace the boots, They didn't have the size and would only order them in if I paid for them and again wait for 3 to 5 days for a credit after the exchange when they came in. After getting a couple of store managers involved they agreed to exchange them for a different model in the same price range.
