La-Z-Boy Outdoor  Caitlyn 7 Pc. Dining Set

Picked up the patio set from the store, the shipping boxes were inspected and found to be in perfect condition. When I got it home I unpacked the table first to inspect the ceramic inserts, I did this because on many of the other reviews their tiles were either broken or chipped, mine was the same, meaning I had three out of the six tiles chipped. I completely emptied the boxes the tiles were packed in expecting to fine the missing chips, Nothing was found in any of the boxes which means they were chipped before packaging. For the money that I paid for this set, and the reputation of Lazy Boy I expected better. I now have the three tiles on order, waiting in line like everyone else that ordered the same set. The hardware packaging and instructions were very good. The seat cushions are a bit skimpy on the foam padding. I would rate this as an "ok" set. Probably would not the same purchase again.

We just moved into a new home and we were celebrating with family and friends and we needed to purchase an outdoor set. This was perfect fit. We have only used it a few times, but so far I am happy with my purchase.

We are really enjoying our new dining set. The seats are very comfortable and the table is large and attractive. My only wish is that the rocker chairs didn't rock so far back - it's a bit annoying when you are trying to have a conversation and your chair keeps rocking you back. i wish instead that we could purchase the set without the rockers and have 6 normal chairs. All in all we are happy with our purchase.

Beautiful, quality outdoor furniture set. Very comfortable with cushions to support the back as well as cushions on the bottom. You can fit a lot of people around this table! Very well package for delivery so that everything arrives undamaged.

I don't often give reviews unless it is very good or very bad. I read the reviews for this set after we had purchased it. We received it yesterday and put it together today. Very easy to construct but it arrived with two broken tiles. Can't talk to anyone until Monday. Also, I agree with one poster who mentioned the top pads falling. Minor deal but the broken tiles are major.

It is now July 23rd and we still haven't received the replacement tiles.  I would not recommend this to anyone.  Hope someone from Sears is reading these reviews.

My husband and I are very happy with this dining set! The tile is a stained concrete look. The cushions are very comfortable and it was very easy to put together. Took my husband a couple of hours.

wow, this seems flimsy and lightweight. Took a long time to put together, just getting the packaging off without damaging the furniture is a battle. Things went together fine, once I figured out the right way but give yourself 3 hours. I just don't think this set will hold up over time. It is as light as a feather, extra holes are cut and the welds are poor.

The packing materials were extremely well organized. Instead of all the nuts and bolts coming in one bag needing to be sorted, they were packaged separately so we had exactly what we needed to assemble each piece. It was simple to assemble but still took several hours. It seem like they thought of everything. There were only a couple of minor problems that we encountered while assembling it. The holes in the T-rocker of one swivel chair didn't line up with the seat, but my husband was able to loosen the bolts that were already attached and get them to align. One plastic cap would not fit over an end because it was too recessed when tightened. Not perfect but not bad.

Table had small scratches one tile chipped and one rear cushion missing. Got the tile and cushion paint on b.o. We would still be waiting for all if we did not seperate the order. The chairs seem low for the table, still looking into that. Easy assembly.

I am very disappointed that I have to write such a poor review of this set as we were really looking forward to a new patio set after having our old set for almost 10 years. After shopping for endless hours at many different stores we selected the Caitlyn Set. We purchased the 7 piece dining set, 2 ottomans, and the bistro set. The first round of problems was that the set came in with a broken tile and a defective table top for the bistro set. We received a replacement table top for the bistro set and that was worse than the original. It appears that on the table that when the metal is being welded on the bottom the top is not being smoothed out which created large crevaces in the top of the table. The tile is on backorder for 4 - 6 weeks so the main dining table is useless until then. After assembling the chairs and putting them on our patio the first thing that happend was that the back cushion blew off the chairs because there are no strings or velcro to hold the back cushion to the chair (there is one for the bottom cushion). When someone is not sitting in the chair the back cushion is either falling forward or being blown off the chair - a very poor design. Last but not least - when you sit in the chairs, there is so much give in the bottom straps that you sink right into the chair (leaving a big indentation in the cushion when you get up) which is not comfortable. I am 5 Ft 2 and 140 Lbs so not a large person. I hate to see what the chairs are going to be like after a year of usage. I finally called Sears and asked them to pick this set up and credit my money back. For the amount of money and that this is a La-Z-Boy set I would expect a much better design and better workmanship and comfort. Beware - this seems great in the store but turned out to be a terrible purchase. In the defense of Sears - they were very cooperative and nice about the return - the real issue is with the manufacture.
