    Excellant Grill September 08, 2008

Just as everyone else has stated this grill was a bear to assemble. And the 5/32 Lockwashers were missing. Luckly I had Stainless lockwashers in my shop. Friend and I put it together in a little over an hour and we both work with our hands for a living. It wasn't technically difficult, there were ALOT of parts. Be prepared to put everything together except the cooking housing and the burners. I have cooked Hamburger Steaks and Chicken so far and this grill has about the most even cooking I have ever had. As far as food sticking to the grill surface, yes it does but I have had Charminglow Grills before and they are the same. Just grab the wife's PAM and spray the MEAT prior to putting on grill and spray meat prior to flipping and you will do fine. The only reason I am not giving this grill 5 stars, is due to the missing parts.

    Food STICKS! May 10, 2008

The grill was not overly difficult to put together (about 2 hours) and it looks good BUT the food sticks! I did not realize this was not coated. So you have to spray. Also because it is not treated (or teflon) it is hard to clean. My old Kenmore I would heat up and easily clean the surface, this one I have to scrub with a wire brush every time. Also the "stainless" steel has turned a burnt-like color. looks like it is a few years old as opposed to a few months. Also one of the burners has a hard time to lite. Really makes me wonder how long it will last. My old Kenmore got toppled over quite a few times (strong winds) and it still worked when I got rid of it. I wanted something bigger and better looking. I wish I would've payed more attention to usefulness and not so much to appearance. This is not a cheap grill, at least not price wise.

    Good Grill March 10, 2010
    via Community Review

    Pros:
    size and power
    Cons:
    ignition button

I purchased this grill about 2 years ago and have been very satisfied for the most part.  The only real defect I have with the grill is the lighter.  Like every grill I've ever had, the push-button lighter mechanism stopped working at some point in the first year or so.  I had high hopes for this one since it was a battery-powered electric mechanism, but it fared no better. I also with the entire hood was made of stainless steel; unfortunately, my grill was toppled off my patio during a big storm. The trauma caused the hood to break at the bolts on both sides - the black material just cracked right along the bolt.  I have hobbled it together with some washers from **********, but its never quite the same.  But overall, I love my grill.  I grill very frequently - 2 or 3 or more times per week.  It has large grilling space so I can handle grilling for family barbecues and get-togethers. The stainless steel portions hold up very well - the black portions age the same as any other typical grill.

Big and Easy October 14, 2008

This is one of the largest grills (cooking space) for the money that I could find. It was super easy to put together contrary to other reviews. If you could read a picture and simple instructions, you could have this done in 1.5 hours, easy. Have not had it long enough to rust or anything, but so far it has been a pleasure to cook on and simple to put together!

Great grill for the price October 06, 2008
    via Sears.com
By CMASPE of Great State of Texas

First the grill was super easy to put together. This was a gift for my mother-in-law and we have used it several times. They cut a few corners to keep this unit at its current price. For instance, the knobs are chrome colored plastic and feel a little "cheap". The drip tray was kind of a beating to get on a I had to make a minor modification to make it work but other than that this grill is well worth the price.

This grill is one of the best that i ever had, BUT the service/parts dept. is the worst i ever had to deal with. I would buy this grill but make sure you have everything, because it will take you weeks to get a item , like me and all i am waiting for is a grease catch cup.
