Kenmore  5-Burner Gas Grill with Ceramic Searing and Rotisserie Burners - Black

This is a great grill, overall. Packaging was well done, assuring all parts are undamaged and accounted for. Assembly is easy. 1 person can do everything except lift the grill on top of the base. My favorite feature is being ALL stainless steel, right down to the screws. I live in southerna California, where there is little rainfall. Even with a heavy duty cover, all of my previous grills still managed to rust everywhere there was no stainless steel. Unlike other flimsy grills, the base is very sturdy and supported by 4 braces. I really like the layout, too. The 5 regular burners are all located in the main grilling area, creating 1 large, evenly heated cooking space. The sear burner is the side burner. My ONLY complaint is the gas line running to the side burner is a bit short. This pulls on the ****, tilting it to the side, instead of sitting perfectly flush against the face. I'm amazed as to how quick it cooks. Steaks, burgers and sausages come off the grill perfectly in minutes.

First off its hard to find a well built grill that doesn't feel sturdy and made from very thin materials. The light is worthless and not set in a location to see anything on the grill. I needed a larger grill and this will do. No drawers or utensil hangers is a drawback.

I bought 2 of them! One for myself and one as a gift. Assembly was easy, grill was packed very well in the shipping box. I love the way it cooks, we bbq. at least three times a week. Grill has alredy been given quite a workout. Wish Sears kept a better selection of of grilling accessories at their stores. I had to purchase a rotisserie elsewhere. I plan to convert the grill to natural gas in the near future.

I am loving this gas grill. It has a feel of quality and delivers even, easily controlled temperature. Even my husband can manage a steak with this classy piece for out door cooking.

I got mine on sale for $550 and when I got it home there was a 25% coupon in box for a cover. added that to signing up for the rewards at check out and I got the cover for $23.So wait for the cover. It fit in the dodge mini van adn I put it togethter easily. make sure you find ALL of the connector pins for the firing pin board. they are zip tied and you have to pull them down from under grill gently and some hid from me and I couldnt fire grill up until I laid down w a flashligh and really looked and found 2 that were not plugged in. put it together in living room. warm and dry. the sear station is awesome. The one thing that did not work is the ignitor ( maybe wire not hooked right) for rotissere. but used a lighter and it works great. I make Beef shawarma on it with Brinkman univ roto from H Depot. So happy w great deal and quality.

Really nice grill, lots of space for a large party. Very good heat control. Also purchased the cover and rotisserie. Cooked a 2 1/2 lb pork loin last night. The rotisserie burner is amazing. Used the 5 main burners and rotisserie the seal roast (about 8 minutes), then turned all the burners to low while leaving the rotisserie one on high. The roast was done perfectly in 25 minutes, start to finish. This is a nice unit for anyone's yard.

I bought this grill over a year ago and it is still working great. The building I live in supplies gas to our patio/balcony, so I switched the grill from propane valves over to gas - not a difficult task. Also, I am NOT a handyman, but the Sears sales rep in St. Paul convinced me to try assembling the unit myself. He said, "look, if you can graduate from college, you can assemble this grill." His pitch worked, and I assembled the grill myself in a few hours. It was actually fun to assemble. Best part about the grill is the fact that it has 5 burners, which gives you more options for getting the temperature right. The lighting features are great, too! Lights inside of the hood are nice for cooking at night. No more flashlights. Before buying at Sears I stopped at ********** and a local appliance powerhouse that sells Weber Grills. **********'s sales guy didn't know what he was talking about and the Weber's were overpriced. Kenmore is the way to go.

The rear outside corners of both side shelves are pointed and very sharp. I blunted them but they should be curved like the front. There are no instructions as to how to cook with the rear infrared rotis. or side sear. Most grills have a cookbook. I've never used infrared- I'm guessing. The instructions should have optional NG kit integrated by notes during assembly. I guessed without messing up. Current instructions would have you assemble then disassemble to convert. What does the chain screwed to the right door attach to? No mention in instructions. Locking wheels should be on the front not rear (as instructions say). If you cool & store against wall, you can't reach locks and the wind blows the grill for a ride. Sears grill cover is too light and strings don't draw tight and blows around on grill. Sharp corners will wear out cover quickly.

I was worried about assembly, but I finished this under 1 hour. Incredible instructions so easy. !!

This grill is excellent, we've had this for 4 weeks and hosted 2 large parties. Loved it.

I just purchased my second Kenmore Gas Grill. Of course all appliances are Kenmore so of course my grill is also. I was very happy with my first grill which lasted 7 years! I could have ordered new parts because the grill itself was still in great shape and looked good too, but hey a guy has to have a new grill when it's time! My new grill is bigger (but less heavy), has more cooking space, individual burner igniters, and a cooking light inside the grill space! The burners and grease shields are a more simple and efficient design which should allow for a longer life on my deck! I love it! Oh, it looks sharp too!
