Grill Module offers 3 stainless tube burners, 13,500 BTU Searzzler™ infra-red side burner, 12,000 BTU infra-red back burner with rotisserie, grill lights, electronic ignition, Therma Core™ stainless grids and 875 sq. in. total grill area. Independent cooking zones allow rotisserie, direct and indirect cooking.

Kenmore Elite Island is loaded with fanatstic features October 30, 2010
I had been searching for the ideal grill and could not find all the features I was looking for at an affordable price. I stumbled across the Kenmore Elite Island grill at the local Sears store and was shocked. It included a sizable infrared grill that was part of the main grill as well as a huge grilling area with regular burners. The storage tray is convenient and stores eveythng needed to grill in a great location that is high off the ground. To my surprise, it has the best slide out propane tank shelf that I have ever seen making it fast and easy to change tanks. The stone face looks fantastic, and I will never have to worry about wind knocking this grill over as it is very heavy and solid with adjustable feet. The overall quality is excellent and it cooks as good as it looks. Great value and is a very well thought out grill!

Color of the stone July 12, 2010
I had reviewed this item online and was just about to purchase when I decided to read the reviews. One reviewer stated they were very disappointed with the color of the stone as it was in grayscale. So I decided to check it out before purchasing it. Sure enough, upon review at the local Sears store, the item is in varying shades of gray. There is not any brown or rust colored stone. Also I was purchasing for the idea of putting the items in a L formation. This would not work if the backside is to be exposed as it is unfinished, not a stone backing. All in all I was very much let down when I actually saw this piece and am so happy that I didn't purchase online without seeing it in person.

This is the most beautiful island grill! The picture does it no justice. Absolutly worth every penny. Solid, heavy, large and made to last. It looks so nice in our backyard, it is the focal point when you walk in. It is a must have! And as an added bonus, when we ordered this grill, the description never mentioned that it came with the cover. We open the draw and there is was. Do not hesitate in buying this grill, I am soooo happy I did!!!

Not as pictured-if color is important don't buy March 23, 2010

We were so excited to find this and on sale! We rec'd on the day requested; and the guys unloaded for us. All was well until we unwrapped it. The brick facade was completely one color; dark putty gray -- not at all as pictured. Needless to say we sent it back. I felt bad for the delivery guys; since this was a super heavy grill. Lesson learned; don't order anything online if color is a criteria. I can't imagine what may have happened if we had ordered the companion units. Of course the credit will take a week to 10 days; and considering how expensive - that hurts!
