9 Bushel 3 - bin Soft Bagger for 54" deck. Fit Yard or Garden tractors with 22" or 23" tires. Fits models built for model years up to 2006.

Bagging is a clean and efficient way to collect grass clippings and leaves. The top of the bagger is designed for improved air flow, which results in fuller bags and less stops. The easy-glide bin with built-in handles makes clipping disposal easy.

    Does the job September 22, 2008

    The bagger works well. I do not wait for the third bag to fill. The overflowing mounds of the first and second bags make up for the 80% level of the third bag. When the little red paddle wheel is spinning furiously that means the third bag is almost completely full and thus time to empty the grass load.Using this method I never experience a clogged chute condition. I mow a little less that 2 acres.

    Works Great for the most part May 19, 2008

    We bought one of these last year and it works well for us, with some minor exceptions. The first one is that the little tiny red plastic flow indicator is poorly made and snapped off in the first 2 weeks. This is not repairable. Design flaw in my opinion. However, the bagger unit itself does work fine and we have no problem getting it to fill to overflowing with the leaves in our yard. The 2nd issue is that this unit will jam up with pine needles. So, if you primarily have pine needles, you can expect to have to stop, take it apart, and pull out the pine needles over and over again. So, i would say that if you ONLY have pine trees in your yard, you will not be happy with this unit, as pine needles don't get mulched up and just get stuck in the chute. There is no fix for this. However, if your yard has other trees with deciduous leaves, such as oak trees, this unit works great. The leaves get mulched up and will evenly distribute across the 3 bins. You will be able to tell when it's full, and then you just dump the bins out and start again. For our big yard with lots of oak trees, this unit has been a real work-saver for us. In spite of its flaws, and a cheaply made paddle flow indicator, it works as designed, and can save you a lot of raking and bagging. I can do my whole big yard in 1/2 day, where raking and bagging used to take days and days.

    I bought this product in hopes it would be worth its weight in gold...The handles break easy and the tops are made of plastic and they break easy also. They fall off going up hills as well. They cost $61.73 each to replace as of 4-22-09. Had it for almost a year. So disappointed!!!

    I read every review before buying this bagger and I was a little skeptical; however, I bought one anyway. Before writing this, I read every review again. I have not had any issues with this bagger. I mow 2 1/2 acres and I bag it, all of it, every time. I keep an eye on the bagger and as soon as it gets full I empty it. As long as I don't over fill it, it takes about 2 minutes to empty and I'm back mowing again. I learned to estimate when I have to empty it when I used it the first time. Only once did I let the bagger get so full that the shoot filled up also. All 3 of my bags fill and I have no problems with any of the equipment. It has worked great for me and I am very pleased with it. I don't know if it would make ANY kind of a difference or not, but I use my bagger with a Craftsman Professional 27 HP with a 54" deck. I really enjoy mowing my grass and using this attachment.
