Blitz Gas Can
Purchased this can to store fuel for my gas generator. Well made and sturdy. Nice price from Sears. Don't forget the Sta-Bil to condition the gasoline during storage.

2nd worst gas can ever made.
what happened to simple gas cans that don't leak? this is probably the best sealing can i've gotten in the last 2 years and it leaks everywhere if you try to pour from it.
the "child proof" system is REALLY cheap feeling. if feel like i'm gunna break it every time i try to use it. also you CAN NOT seal the can without the HUGE valve, spout system sticking up. also the spout is too short to get fuel into a car gas tank without scratching the paint or leaving 1/3 of the gas in the can.
all the parts i HATE about this can are now required by law. the reason the can works so poorly is because in order to comply with the new laws the manufacturer had to add a LOT of parts. so everything suffers from cost cutting measures.
all i want to do is pour gas into my mower with out the can leaking all over everything.

Sturdy durable gas container
The 5 gal capacity gas can has a safe stable design and made of tough plastic to handle the weight. Great choice for keeping a small supply of fuel for the tractor, mower or snow thrower. I'm all for environmental safety but the EPA/CARB compliant spout is annoying to use on all brands of gas cans.

Good gas can
THis has the spill-proof spout. It is spring loaded so that took some getting used to. It was hard to fill my snowblower. On the other hand it won't leak when full and tipped over.

First,the lip where the can and the spout meet, was uneven,that is to say that they would have a gap where they met together and leak,that paticular one was defective from the factory,not all are like that. It's really a shame that somebody thought it would be better to force companies to make a can more complicated with more things to malfuntion,They don't want vapors escaping while you pour gasoline.I have another can like this and it leaks from around the spout when you pour from it. It's just a shame,I do like the shape of the can itself. If it just had a better spout.
