    I bought this hearing protection when i bought a new tractor.This model is similar to a pair that I used to use in a production machine shop which I later used while mowing yards 2 or more acres in size on an older tractor.Without hearing protection over time your hearing is at risk and can ring for hours from the noise of mowers, tractors and other loud power equipment over a protracted period of time.This pair is similar,but quieter and is rated at a noise reduction level of 27 DB.The headset is flexible to adjust to almost any head size and fits comfortably while working.The cost of this model is a bit lower than the slightly higher or highest rated models,but does every bit as good a job of keeping loud noises to a minimum.Craftsman Professional Hearing Protector Item#71136604 is a great item to have to protect your hearing when doing work that involves loud noises of all types and I strongly recommend and endorse this product.

    The hearing protector head gear works very well and makes a big difference. I like the fact that it is heavy duty and can survive being bumped around while my husband works on tough jobs. If they could be smaller it would be a bonus, but you can't beat them for the price.
