This is crap, do not buy, the battery does not last past about 12 mows, and Worx will not stand behind the battery past a year, this is an expensive mower and the battery is the mower, and the batteries are around $200 about half the cost of the mower, be the time you buy another battery after a year, well after a few years you could have bought a real nice mower and besides that they are made in China. Save yourself time, money, aggravation, and hassle of dealing with people who could care less, at Sears, and at Worx. I am putting it on Craigslist, giving it to Goodwill or using it as target practice.

I bought this back in March and have been very pleased with the results. I waited to write this review so it can be as accurate as possible. I have a half lot in the city to mow. It's smaller design does take a little longer to mow. Overall it cuts very well. I have used all 3 options. The bagger fills up pretty quick (about 2-3 times around my lawn). The mulcher is great when you don't feel like bagging. It looks like you've bagged it even though you didn't! The side thrower tends to make a thick line sometimes instead of an even throw out. I can mow two times without charging. I've done three, but it was cutting it close. So that's approximately 3 hours of battery life.

Negatives are very few. The bagger fills up pretty quick. If you have really wet grass or tall grass, it'll cut, but it's difficult. Why are you mowing wet grass anyway, right?! It's not self-propelled and most of my lost has a slight pitch, so it can get tiresome pushing it when it's 90+ degrees outside. The left side needs to stick out a little past the wheels and this one is in line with the wheels. It makes it hard to get close to obstacles in the yard.

Postivies very easy to use, start up, the battery comes out, so you can store your mower outside under a carport like I do. The battery also has an indicator so there's no guessing how much charge you still have. The mower itself is very light. The battery is what makes it weigh so much. It's also very easy to clean. I turn it over and spray it out each mow.

My neighbors stared at me at first and passers by still do, due to it's strage design. It's very quiet compared to a gas motor. I listen to my iPod while mowing and can hear the music over the mower. I turn up the volume a little bit though. I've gotten several compliments on my yard this year. I am very pleased with it and this winter it will be nice to store it in the basement since there isn't any gas!

Good idea, poor design May 02, 2011

I purchased this lawnmower and have used it to cut my lawn 4 times now. Wanted to make sure the flaws I perceived the first time weren't just a matter of me needing to get use to a rear wheel drive mower. It is supposed to adjust to my walking speed. it doesn't As a result it is contantly trying to run away from me, raising the front wheels off the ground and missing spots. The mower suction does not keep the grass pulled up enough (probably a blade design issue) when mulching and as a result I'll find individual blades of grass not even cut. When mulching it does not double cut the grass blade, which results in long blades of grass left behind in rows or clumps. My other mowers never did this when cutting without the bag. When I try to back up, it takes a while for the drive to disengage and I find myself either having to wait or pulling it backwards with the rear wheels locked - which means dragging it with no cooperative wheel motion. It takes me twice as long to cut my yard with this 19 inch mower than it did with my 22 inch front wheel drive - a LOT more work. It seems like a good idea and I definitely wanted to go "green" with a mower, but this probably wasn't the right one to do that with. Sorry - Worx - but your mower does not really work as advertised.

Very Happy With The Worx Lawnmower March 28, 2011

I was very scared to take the plunge on this mower......boy am I glad I did. This mower goes beyond anything I expected. Plenty battery life for my yard, about 18,000 SF. Easy to push, easy set up and easy to clean and charge. I would reccomend this mower!!!!! Thanks Worx
