A GREAT MOWER
PURCHASED THIS MOWER 3- WEEKS AGO AND CUT MY GRASS 3-TIMES ALREADY. FOR SOMEONE WHO HATES CUTTING GRASS, THIS IS THE MOWER, VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE PUSH BUTTON START, AND BEING A REAR WHEEL DRIVE VERY EASY GETTING CLOSE TO TRESS AND BUSHES. DONT LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. IF SOMEONE IS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS KIND OF MOWER, GET A TRACTOR, BELIEVE ME I CKECKED THEM ALL OUT

Does not even deserve 1 star in my opinion. This lawn mower was not a good buy and broke down after using only one time. Rear wheel drive constantly gets stuck/locked up. Electronic start stopped working after only one use. Will not even start with pull cord now.

I picked up the mower late yeasterday afternoon and used it the first time today. Starting it the first time took at least 20 tries, and by the time I finished the yard, which is just an average size, the mower was smoking and leaking oil all over. Will be returning to the store.

Always stalls, Cust Service did right by me though
After the purchase the mower began stalling and then would not start, I called the CCN and was told that this particular model has an automatic fuel system (no choke), that when faulty had a tendency to become flooded. Further discussion revealed that the only way to remedy this was to turn the mower on its side and spin the blade backwards to retract the fuel...hmm. Since the above was very inconvenient, and frankly absurd for a brand new top-of-the-line mower, I exchanged it. I took my chances with the same model number because I am loyal to the craftsman brand, and presumed that it wouldn't happen again. Well it was fine until recently, now the same issues are happening again! I have since read the reviews for this mower, and its obvious others are experiencing carb/fuel system issues...Customer service is making it right though, Sears does stand behind their products. Thank you Sears.

Pulled it out of the box and added oil and filled with gas and started first pull. Electric start makes it easier for my wife. Fully adjustable handle allows for more comfortable positioning of handle for larger jobs.

Great product!! So far so good handles well, easy to use. I have slopes and its real easy to push. I did purchase the extended warranty just in case it does break down, I figure at this price might as well just get it.

Love this mower, I've had it for about 8 months, worked everytime, until i hit a steel pipe stub stucking up out of the ground,,, bent the shaft, finding an exact replacement engine as proved impossible so far... looks like i'll be buying another one just like it, I run my own small lawn care buisness.. gotta have it
