Craftsman 160 cc Honda Rear Bag Push lawn mower October 12, 2010
This mower cuts great and is wonderful at keeping the cut grass out of my yard. The wheel adjustments are great and the self propel is great. I do not like having to empty the rear bag so often, after just once or twice around my lawn(which is not big), i have to empty and it takes me a while to mow

Good cutter, poor self-propulsion, uncomfortable grip July 23, 2010
Just finished my first use of this new mower and I'm taking it back. I had to stop half-way through my 1/3 acre and go back to my old mower because the grip is so uncomfortable. There is no padding (which my old Craftsman has). It feels awkward. Also, the thing won't get out of it's own way--it is very slow for me (6'4"). I mowed my grass 5 days ago and use nearly the highest setting. So it's not like I'm slogging through very high grass. Perhaps my hands were hurting on the bar and the pull lever because I was also pushing. The Honda engine seems very strong cutting the grass even though there are no ratings of torque or horsepower available. The high wheel in back is good for my bumpy lawn--but my old mower's wheel is even larger and seems to turn/swivel much better. Maybe they put too much emphasis on cutting and not enough on propulsion when they designed it. They certainly didn't put any thought into ergonomics.

Craftsman 160cc lawn mower is easy to put together November 30, 2011

Pros:
Height adjustment,EZ Deck WashThe following are the reasons I bought this product ?
- It is easier to check how full the bag is, be able to take it off, and put it back on
- You can hook up a hose to the lawn mower to clean it
- I have owned a hoda before they work great and hold up over time
The following were some of the improvements I found over other lawn mowers I have had
- There was almost no need for instructions to assemble the lawn mower
- All the bolts and screws were lock tight type insuring they wouldn't back out when you use the lawn mower
- ?the pins that raise and lower the wheels a very simple to use

Won't StartI purchased this mower because of Honda's general reputation for quality. The choke did not work properly from the start. The choke will not stay in start position. It ran for about a minute before quitting. It wouldn't restart. I have returned it for service. I am very disappointed, given Honda's good reputation as a company.

EZ deck wash sprays all over the placeI have only had the mower for 3 weeks but have cut grass 2 x. First cut the grass was high and slightly wet but the Honda engine chugged right through and did not leave a mess on the lawn. Good so far...

don't buy this mower,Plastic Wheels,POS,cheap sheet metal height adjustersWheel height adjustments are junk and just fell off a couple of the wheels. Rear drive has failed after two summer seasons of use and this mower is too heavy to use without the drive on a hilly lot. Cheap slippery wheels. Look elsewhere.
The only pro is the motor starts first time everytime. The only part of the mower that still works after 2 years.
