One of the BEST lawnmowers I've ever owned April 22, 2009
I like a simple no "bells and wistles" lawnmower and this is one of the best I have ever had. I have never had any problems with the lawnmower and its starts every time with just one easy pull. It's smooth cutting and pushing and never bogs down even in tough grass. I'll never buy another mower as long as this one continues to serve me like it is now. It's simple and easy to take care of by keeping clean and maintained, no belts or gear boxes to mess with.

Bad mower handle May 21, 2009
Purchased this mower new at Sears, took home and unpacked. The mower handle would not stay attached to the mower; it would come disconnected at the base and fall down flat on the ground. This is the second mower from Sears within 8 months that had a problem; the first had a bent front wheel bracket. I returned the mower to Sears and received a credit. I recommend Sears stores unpack and inspect each mower they sell to eliminate such problems.

Pros:
PowerfulI have a huge lawn to mow, but my lawn is too hilly to use a riding mower. I have found that the craftsman push is great on the hills. I can control from the top of the incline pushing down and it is not too heavy to push up the incline from the bottom. I have good contro of whatever incline I am mowing.

Pros:
Very easy to start,PowerfulI had this mower for 2 years and it has proven to be a great purchase. It replaced my 16 year old Craftsman mower that I ruined when I hit a stump. This one has more power and is much easier to start. After sitting all winter it starts on the first pull. I'm sold on Craftsman products both for their reliability and for the convenience of being able to by parts like filters and spark-plugs on-line.
