    Craftsman 6.75 B&S push mower is more quiet and easy to start. April 21, 2011

    While the first start out of the box took 2 pulls, its only taken 1 pull every time since then. I was concerned about the front end dropping (as I had read many reviews before purchasing it), and found there is indeed a problem with the design (it seems that the axle is a little too long). Should be a simple fix for me--one reviewer used a ziptie as an axle shim--but I might try the ziptie or put a little more curve on the adjustment lever. Please note: While I have a skill-set that makes it easy for me to fix this problem, I don't feel that the average buyer should have to fix--or work around--such a major design flaw. This machine will scalp your lawn if you are careless with it.

    I have some concerns about all the plastic(the wheels in particular look kind of cheap), but the plastic front was a big reason for making the purchase because my old craftsman (all metal) was rusty where the paint had chipped off from bumping into the odd landscape stone, concrete deck base, etc.

    Handle seems ergonomic but the angle adjustment method is a big step down from the old design. In the grand scheme of things it shouldn't be a concern for anybody. Also, I have some concerns about not having a cross-brace on the handle, but it didn't seem to twist much while I was mowing.

    I still need to look at how easy it will be to change the filter, and haven't used the deck-wash yet, but so far I am very pleased with the mower. My wife likes that its more quiet and so easy to start.

    craftsman 6.75 lawn mower review April 22, 2011

    After using for the first time today I found this mower made me very frustrated. The front adjustment height lever kept dropping from 4 to zero. I scalped part of my lawn. I tried to put tension on the notch plate by placing two washers behind it. I tried for a couple more laps it seems to hold in place. I just hope this holds for my next lawn cut. They really skimmed on this adjustment which should have the same notch procedure as the rear.

    I haven't found a job that this mower can't handle yet! The bag is easy to remove and and replace. The lawnmower cranks with ease. I am extremley satisfied with my purchase.

    I bought this lawn mower when I moved into my new house. The back yard had a steep slope into a ravine. The mower has the power and settings to tackle the job. The large rear wheels help with the maneuvering of the mower. The bag is a nice option for a clean project.

    I bought one of these a few years back at a end of season closeout and love it. The 6.75hp engine has plenty of power to cut through tall grass, and the mulching works great. Also the big wheels help with my uneven and hole filled yard. Also starts easily and has worked flawlessly year after year, I just have to keep the blade shape.
