Excellent Blower/ Vac
I have used the blower, very powerful and light wieght. Pushed around wet leaves with no problem. I have a fenced in yard with alot of bushes and the leaves just pile up in the corners. thats where the vaccum comes in handy. I vaccum up the piles then go right between the bushes and vaccum up. It makes it alot easier, just empty the bag right into the garbage can. Don't have to bend over to pick up the leaves. I have vaccumed up some wood mulch, doesn't seem to bother the metal blades. The only problem is the cord keeps coming apart from the extension cord. Nice product!!!

Great While it works!
I've owned two of these.... the 1st just died after two years of light seasonal use on less than a 1/4 acre. I liked the way it worked so I reolaced it with a 2nd one which now sounds like it's grinding gravel when in use I'm not going to replace it with a 3rd one.... time to buy something that might last. Too bad, because I really did like this blower.

Coil burnt out after very few gentle uses.
Did no mulching or shredding. I live on less than a quarter acre. House frontage is less than two long car lengths. Used blower to clean up grass clippings. - in front of curb - on sidewalk along curb - on sidewalk from curb to house, which is in the front of the property Maybe, MAYBE, 10 minutes work each time I used it. Used 10 or 11 times over 2 summers. IF I owned a lawn care business, it would have worked for probably less than 1 busy day's use. Died near the end of last summer. Have been told the coil is burnt out. INCREDIBLY disappointed ! ! Saw another review on this site that pretty much says the same thing. I'll go Craftsman this time.

Excellent Lawn Vacuum & Shredder
I recycle almost all of my organic landscape refuse back into the yard, primarily into the grassy areas. In the fall, most of the tree leaves are mulched where they fall with a mulching mower. However, a fair amount of the leaves fall into areas not accessible to the mower, such as the flower beds. Raking pulls along too much of the very expensive rubber mulch and pulling leaves from the shrubbery was time-consuming and painful. Voila! The Ultra Blower Vac makes quick work of the leaf gathering and does a great job of shredding them as well. The shredded leaves and clippings can be spread directly onto the lawn with no need to run the mower over them. The only problem involves my height. I am only 5-feet five-inches tall and the blower vac is a little too tall for me, when set up as a vacuum. It would be perfect for a person of average height.

surprisingly good
i usually purchase craftsman power equipment, and gas powered at that, but i didn't have a lot to spend on a blower so i went with this toro and also went with electric which i figured i'd be kicking myself for. i think the fact that it's corded vs. battery helps with power bc this little guy has some power! works really well as a blower and okay as a vac/shredder. i'm sure if i got to my leaves earlier, the vac/shredder would've worked a little better as these were some really old dead leaves i was working with. either way, still better than raking! so far so good!

I love this item. It was so easy to assemble for blowing or for vacuuming and the shredding feature works great. I can stop lugging big plastic bags of leaves to the trash. I love this product.

For a woman in her sixties, I appreciate a tool that is light enough, strong enough, has duel purposes, and priced right! This ultra blower/vacuum does require an extension cord but the 100' cord is sufficient and connects well to this blower.
