Craftsman  12 amp Electric Blower and Vacuum

This blower works great! The vacuum, with steel blades, works great too but you have to be careful not to suck up rocks. The vacuum shreds up leaves making excellent mulch. In addition to the mulch the shredder makes fine dust and dirt out of the leaves too so you have to be careful when unzipping the bag so as to not force the zipper over debris and cause the zipper to come off its track. Use care and common sense and you?ll be very happy with this blower.

I gave it 5 stars because of the motor. The bag is the problem! I bought this at ************. I've used other brands and none of the motors are as well made as this one. It has a powerful 2 speed motor for blowing and suction during vac. I especially like the metal propeller and the added shredder blades attached to the propeller. It's a work-horse and I'd put it up against any other blower/vac in it's class. The only negative is the bag. I read another review that suggest care isn't taken with the bag or misuse of some sort. Complaints about the bag is due to bad material. It tears easily at the collar and it's not even half full. I tried, several times, to sew it. The fabric simply continues to rip and open further and further. The replacement bag cost $30 + s/h! That's around 2/3 the price I paid for the whole thing! You have no choice but to purchase the replacement, if you want to continue using the vac function!

Bought 1 year ago and it did all I asked of it but now bag has a hole (impossible to vac with a hole in bag will blow junk everywhere) and the unit did not turn on for the first use this season. We had a good, very short, run. Scored 2/5 because unit performance was so awesome otherwise would have given it one.

It's pretty and the price was good. However, there is a definite lack of power. Even on "high" it seems to have less power than my old Toro had when it was running on "low."

Lots of power from a small unit. Awkward handling in the vacuum/mulching configuration, but otherwise ok.

Overall a good unit, vacuum attachment is cumbersome

First one immediately burned up the motor on first use. I took it back and it was easily replaced. Used new one for a couple of hours both as blower and vac. I like the bag better than my old B&D model. No more problems with new unit.

I needed a blower/vac/mulcher and this one was on sale. We tried out all of the features and found it to be perfect. The adjustable settings are really helpful.

Mulches leaves and small sticks when vacuuming and has a strong stream of air when blowing. Expect lots of dust when operating, especially on vacuuming when bag emits plenty of dust. Plan on a good shower after operating and wear a dust mask. It works great!
