Good Product
I live in the northeast and will be getting ready to use 5 acres of my wooded property to heat my home this year. The Mantis splitter arrived on schedule and like a boy with a new toy was eager to see what it can do. Packing and delivery A+. Assembly A+. The system worked great and I had no trouble with any logs from a oak trimming felled last year. However, I feel the design for the stand, which lifts the system off the wheels during storage and operation can be better. You cannot lift the unit up and set the stand at the same time unless you had a second person or bump it forward with your shoulder. The wheel bolts can be sturdier, I noticed the left wheel bowing inward from the weight of the unit as I rolled it around. Overall it works as advertised.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
