Not U.S. made.This Craftsman 4lb sledg hammer is made really well and should last several lifetimes of heavy use! The handle is very solid and probably the best handle next to an integral steel handle. The price is right and the only down side is it is not U.S. made. I wish Craftsman would keep all Craftsman tools U.S. made.Other then that is is a top quality low cost hammer!

Lightweight but durable handle that is long enough to generate a good blow. Used in combination with a 4" mason's chisel to split cement landscaping bricks.
