Great Tool for the Yard
Precision crafted by Fiskars. Long handle let's you use two hands. Blade is sharp and will easily handle most cutting jobs.

Great Hatchet
This may be the best hatchet I've ever owned. I needed it to cut down some small trees and vines growing on my fence and it cut very easily. The blade is molded into the handle so even after a lot of use the head didn't loosen and start to wobble around. The handle is also very sturdy and comfortable. I prefer this to wooden handles because it won't swell up if it gets left in the moisture and it won't crack open. I usually leave tools like this under my carport on my workbench, covered with a tarp, so this one is perfect for me.

Best I've ever used
I have had a Fiskars hatchet for a little over a year, it makes the job of chopping kindling so much easier than my other one with a metal handle, I decided to get a second one and retire the metal handled one. Once you try one, you'll never go back!

Best hatchet on the market
I use and abuse lots of hand tools running a sawmill business. I have to extract nails out of logs and beams and have found no other hatchet that holds up. The steel is top grade, the handle seems indestructible and the design is well thought out. I've used lots of different designs over the years - this is the best, hands down.

A great tool at a great price
Fiskars makes great cutting tools and this one is no exception. It feels good in the hand and cuts like butter. And if, like me, you don't enjoy wandering through department stores, the buy-online/pickup-in-store option is great.
